This review is for people looking to apply to the coffee bean menifee location, I worked there for over a year and honestly the first half of the year was amazing, I was getting lots of hours, making friends, the second half of the year was the complete opposite, if you make a single mistake, mine was being late 5 minutes, the GM Leo Salmon will turn your life upside down, he cut my hours, started looking at everything I did under a microscope, I was next in line for a promotion and he took it away from me after weeks of telling me it’s mine, to give it to a barista who was dating a supervisor so they could stay at the same store, when the next time came around to promote he didn’t even tell me and when I brought it up to him he brought up a mistake I made a year ago (before the first promotion incident) telling me how he’s doesn’t trust me because of that, and after hearing I would never be up for a promotion I put in my two weeks notice, he then cut all my shifts and told me he didn’t need me anymore! So if you are looking to apply there are about 30 people working in that store and I would say about 3/4 of those people only get 1, 4.5 hour shift a week in hopes they will quit because he’s to scared of conflict to fire anyone

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the interaction I had with Leo, the so called “general manager,” during my visit today. I have been a loyal customer for many years, and I cannot recall an experience quite as disappointing as this one.

I made a simple request less ice in my drink. Rather than listening and adjusting the beverage accordingly, Leo insisted on remaking it which, in itself, was not an issue. The problem is that the remake was still filled with ice, completely ignoring what I had asked for in the first place.

When I politely asked him to remove some of the ice, his response was, “You should have had me do that the first time.” I was absolutely taken aback. For a grown man let alone someone holding a managerial position to speak to a customer in such a dismissive, condescending manner is unacceptable. It showed a complete lack of professionalism, patience, and basic customer service skills.

At my age, I’ve dealt with plenty of people in all kinds of situations, and I can assure you this was not only unnecessary but entirely avoidable had he simply listened the first time. I felt disrespected, brushed off, and genuinely astonished that this is the individual representing your store’s leadership.

I believe this matter warrants attention from someone above him.

I workin with customer service and this is unacceptable. Don’t go through the drive through. They take orders when they receive it, so it’s better to order pick up. I called the store while waiting in line.. The customer service sucks, when I asked why the drive thru line is taking forever, they said it’s just pretty busy day. I’ve been stuck in this line for 25 minutes and I still haven’t ordered. This is ridiculous customer service. They will go down like Starbucks if they think this doesn’t affect people’s decisions on what coffee to drink. Corporations should have their business together, this is really unprofessional. I’m very upset and I still waiting line and haven’t ordered.

Drive thru is always extremely slow no matter what. Staff is nice and helpful but it takes forever to get to the drive thru window to finally get your order.

Asked for egg and cheese and confirmed it was just egg and cheese only for it to be bacon egg and cheese! Terrible. Was given large water down drinks!! Worst experience ever. I come often! I’m a loyal returning Custer and the new hires are not good at their job.
