Four of us had a delicious dinner. Service was lovely, atmposphere was quite so we could actually hear each other. Someone commented this isn't the typical California Mexician food place - exactly! It is better. All four of our main dishes were good. Side of beans had real flavor and wasn't drowned in cheese. Included a little salad not just for garnish and guacamole. Rice also had nice flavor and texture. Vegetables were grilled not boiled. Prices very reasonable for a sit down, full service in a nice location resturant.Parking: Easy to park on a Thursday night.

Was suggested to try this place from a family member. Try Celia's instead. The waitress, ULTRA sweet, she deserves a better cook and place to serve! My daughter's food was good, my chicken tasted like rubber, like over cooked or sat too long. Was almost like a frozen meal chicken cut thin breast with sauce. Maybe they need to work on the chicken. They don't have agua fresca. Seemed pricey for what it was. Not a typical California Mexican place. At one time, they looks like they were popular from all the news articles. Being from San Francisco I guess I expect more.

Tried this place 1st time I got a meat dish a few months back 2 weeks ago I got the Chicken Mole was al right not much in the flavor department.Parking: Free Parking lot but pretty popular to park very narrow especially with Menlo Parkians that don't pull completely forward in the parking space.

I used to love this place for their grilled shrimp burrito. But looks like they removed it from their menu, so I had to move on. I hope they bring it back.

First time being here since COVID began. Was delightfully pleased that the food and service were still excellent. Our friends that dined with us had not been to Cafe Del Sol before and expressed that this is definitely a 'new favorite place to dine'.

This is the best food ever. The sauces are amazing, the rice and salsas are fresh and delicious. My friend and I tried Cafe' del Sol because we had heard about it from a friend; now we are regulars. I have tried so many of their dishes and never been dissapointed. I do have my favorites though. The staff is gracious, friendly, and aim to please. Cafe' del Sol has my friend's and my "thumbs Up."

Had some takeout for lunch. A fair and fairly balanced meal, but I think could be better. Can't comment much on the service or dining experience. Overall, wished there was more food for an entree and the chicken was more tender. Mole Poblano - sauce was very present, meshed well with everything served. Minimal rice though so there was a lot of leftover sauce and not enough to pair with the beans or the chicken. Salad was just tossed on top. Baked beans were pretty standard. The chicken was solid but a bit firm and difficult to tear apart. Could be more tender.

This is my new go to spot when im in the area. The chicken enchiladas is crazy good. Probably the best i have had to date. Its not crazy heavy and the flavor is very balanced. I definitely need to try other things on their menu
