Cafe Zoe & Neighborhood Pizza Guy

I grew up in Jersey and have been a snob when it come to pizza and had not found east coast level pizza on the west coast living here for the last 20+ years. Well today I found it!! I was so sad I was meeting a friend for lunch later so couldn’t just gorge on this pizza today (had just come in for a coffee). Only thing I would change is the crispiness of the crust, it didn’t pass the hold test but we did just get a slice rewarmed. I’d like to see what happens with a whole fresh pie. I don’t even care, it was delicious!! I will be back folks and will bring the gang (aka my kids) who also spent their summers in NJ/NY and missed the pizza 11 months of the year. Latte was pretty good as well.

I love the pizza, we get one a few times a month, always good. I especially appreciate the young man who makes the pizzas and the young lady who works the counter, thank you so much!! Your doing a very good j0b!

First time trying this place and I love it. I had a latte, breakfast sandwich and a chocolate croissant, everything was delicious. And the staff were friendly, so I'm definitely coming back.

Nice cozy place. I had the pear salad and slice of cheese pizza. To be honest they weren’t anything special. I had a little more expectation for the pizza but overall it was average. Good solid dough but the overall taste wasn’t all that impressive. Average food, I’d say. But still a nice little cozy place to meet up with someone

Nice neighborhood cafe. Bathroom needs some renovation work, but okay clean. The Latte was okay.

The Barista is very friendly. Friends and I sat for a while and talked - no feeling we were rushed. The place is not part of a corporate chain and could show even more personality.

But their expresso drinks should be afficinado level.

I always make sure to stop by when I'm in the south bay. Absolutely love their breakfast sandwich, particularly the egg and cheese because of the spicy aioli they use. And their vegan chorizo pizza is delicious!! Coffee is great too!
