Che Fico has realized that their 10% surcharge was excessive and now has changed their business practices

Si nice to have a good Italian restaurant in Menlo Park! The outside patio is super cute and weather doesn't seem to make as big a difference as one may imagine. They have a covered area and big heaters throughout. The staff is friendly and the servers quite knowledgeable and offer suggestions for your meal. They do recommend family style (sharing) but we also got a couple of individual items. The pizza is probably my favorite part - it's a sourdough crust, which is probably why it's a close second only to the pizza I've had in Rome. Plenty of options for vegetarian/pescatarian folks, which we appreciated! Pictured are the octopus w tomatillo salsa verde and potato, and the vongole en crosta, which were killer! They are clams steamed INSIDE calzone-like pocket of love. Vongole is served table side where they add olive oil and fresh lemon juice. So good!

Such a great addition to Menlo Park! We've been several times now and it doesn't disappoint. Be prepared, there are very few indoor seats, most tables are on the patio, but it is well heated and protected from the elements (we were there last night in the pouring rain and we were perfectly comfortable.) The Zeppole al Tartufo Nero (truffle fritters), Casoncelli pasta (little pillows of crab and meyer lemon yumminess) Vongole en Crosta (clams baked in a pizza crust, sounds strange but trust me) and the Bavette steak are not-to-be-missed menu items! To be honest, I would reorder almost everything we've had there; the one exception being the Melanzana (eggplant parmigiana) which I found to be soggy and bland

The food and service were excellent. Pricey. A special wine event with the wine producer in attendance was a very nice touch. The indoor room (table against the wall) was NOISY. Some acoustic treatments may be necessary.

All plates are shared, so not as expensive when factored in. Chopped salad was big and fresh. Paloma didn't have fresh grapefruit but a liquor. Focaccia was a bit plain, just nice and fluffy. Unfortunately pizza needed salt and pork chop was over cooked. Soft serve was bright, chocolate buddino was just ok. Rap music was playing. Definitely a great hangout place when you've got time and money. Free ample parking below is a big plus

Decent, nice service and great food. The dishes came out beautifully plated with a lot of attention to details. Every dish Tonno appetizer, branzino and octopus were tasty with every bite bringing a little bit of a nice and decadent flavor or texture surprise. The prices are a bit high and not the fastest service, but overall the place are the food really great. Highly recommend

Second time we've gone. Food was great both times, but service is pretty slow. Not sure what the issue is, but long waits for drinks and then for each course. Hopefully this will improve because food and atmosphere are both outstanding.

Our dining experience was amazing! We ordered many different apps as well as entrees. Everything was delicious as well as the yummy variety of flavors! We like that the menu had changed since our last visit, yet we had a couple of favorite items from before! We especially loved the soft serve desserts-something new.'Our only complaint would be using Open Tqable to get our reservation. It is not user friendly if you have a larger group. It always shows "all booke", yet we could get eventually get in.

I had a great dining experience. The service and food were all excellent. The Radiatori pasta was the highlight of the meal and I hope it stays within the menu rotation. The Calabrian Chili Bomba sauce is fantastic!

Pricey and that is before the 10% mandatory “not-a-tip” tip pool which you are supposed to add your tip to. Wine pour was not generous. But, food was very good, service was excellent, and sophisticated scene and beautiful build-out are a welcome addition to Menlo Park.

Food was fine but the service was really disappointing. Not sure we even had a waiter assigned. Just random people would come to our table at random times. Took so long to get our food. Couldn't order another drink for so long.

Really wonderful experience. We felt very taken care of, and the wait staff was on their game. They recognized a special occasion we were having and everyone left full and satisfied! I highly recommend Che Fico Parco to everyone!

We've figured out the garage parking, and I'm happy to say the restaurants finally added signage at the garage elevator bay so you know where to go. After a few trips back here since first visit, it seems like an issue with consistency is starting to emerge. I want to draw management's attention to this. At recent visit, the halibut entree was smaller size than previous visit and the vegetables were on the salty side. We ordered it a second time thinking it would be abundant like the first visit and that we could share, but it seemed less than prior visit. At another visit, the chicken was not hot and was overcooked and the dark meat was leathery, which was addressed with management. Also, I have found I have to be specific with wait staff to not rush the food and to course it out. One time, everything came out almost all at once and we couldn't enjoy the salads before the hot food showed up. So, please attend to this pacing. I'm a big fan of the pizza here and I specified to please not burn th pizza. Waiter said he is not in control of that. Hmm. It's a fine line between perfection and burnt. In fact, the bottom was blacker than any other previous visit. The staff is nice and they are more trained now. The waiter support staff is great, they keep things tidy. The reason I am bumping down 1 star from previous visit is the consistency factor. At this visit, one dining companion said they missed the arugula salad on menu and another dining companion enjoyed the giant focaccia with marinara and mandarin orange soft serve sorbetto. Of course, I will return here again, but please attend to the details. Sat in the beautiful indoor area this visit, though it was a fairly loud atmosphere.

Octopus entree was incredible and the best octopus dish I've ever had. The pastas are very tasty. The pizza with shredded mushrooms on top is excellent!
