Great food and service, atmosphere is clean just old. Crunchiest and best tasting cod ive had in the bay area. Fries are good not super crispy could be better but the fish is tops. Chowder is delicious just like mama used to make. Calamari is good too very fresh.

When you walk into the place, it smells like fish urine. I don't know why they don't have ventilation system to separate that the restaurant from the market. And a clean fish market doesn't smell like that. But we were there to eat. So we got fish and chips and tried the prawns.It was a huge pound of fish meat each piece, not a good thing. Which means it's not uniform cooking. Uneven weird different shaped pieces is bad.Sure enough I ate raw batter in the fried fish. The prawns had a doughnut coating on them to make them look bigger. Aren't you gonna know once you bite into it? And taste deep fried bread? And not crispy shrimp? But I was already done with raw batter on my fried fish. Check please. Gross. The fries were stupid. Sorry I don't know another word. U eat them u would understand.

I had snapper and chips. This was the best fish dinner I've had in a very long time! The service was good and quick.Parking: There was plenty of parking. But I hit the restaurant during a quiet period.Wheelchair accessibility: I don't think a person in a wheelchair would have had any problems accessing this facility.

Would generally have given this place more stars but today when I went to buy some cod I could see it was discolored and I even asked about it only to be told it’s fine. Well it was not, it was spoiled fish and tasted awful and thank god I spit it out after the first bite. Really disappointed. Sticking with Good Eggs instead.
