I absolutely LOVE Lutticken’s! It is my home for karaoke every Thursday night with KJ Anthony! The regular crowd is so welcoming, diverse, fun to be around. They are my second family. Carlos serves up the best cocktails in the area and their whole kitchen crew serves up the most amazing menu. I will continue to come back week after week!!

Just tried this place for the first time, and I will be coming back. I had a sandwich and it was very fresh, well made, and delicious. The kids working there were all pretty nice and quick. They had a couple of football games up on the TVs and it felt comfortable and relaxed.

I highly recommend the location on the Stanford campus, but distinctly do not recommend this original location.I placed an online order as I was in a rush, only to arrive and discover their system is down. When I arrived, no one greeted me for an extremely long time (all the staff was chatting with a large group in the Dining Room) and it was very awkward. Then a man, perhaps the owner or manager finally address me, and said a comment about how this lovely woman would help me, which I found uncomfortable in this Me Too era as a way to refer to colleagues/employees. Then the sandwich which I had to wait for to be made was not very good. Also the online ordering opinions if it even works is pretty strange without fully built out options for adding a additional toppings to each sandwich. Again, the Stanford location is really fantastic but I would avoid this original location unless you want to be very disappointed all around.Additionally, this location does not have the best item from the Stanford location, a grilled chicken sandwich – only a chicken torta sandwich.

Maybe it's a Sunday staff situation non of the 3 workin today were overly friendly, got the Hawaiian Grilled Sandwich thrifty portion of Ham . Maybe it's better during the week but I won't be back cause I can get a superior Deli Sandwich a traditional deli or market.Parking: Plenty of parking on a Sunday.

I love this place! This is a traditional independent “everybody knows your name” type of classic deli/restaurant, so rare in the Bay Area. And the food is great too!

I want to love this place, I really do. I love the staff and the atmosphere. It's honestly cozy, always smells delicious and is so inviting. I would come daily if the food was more enjoyable. I've had a few things on the menu as well as some grab and go items and it's just not for me. Yesterday I went and grabbed the pasta salad and marinated mushrooms- both had a ton of Italian type dressing and garlic powder. I took a bite of each and put them down. Didn't taste fresh and flavorful. The last time I grabbed a deli meat sandwich, all fresh ingredients but the deli meat was a bit off. Maybe I need to try some of their breakfast items. My friend raves about this spot, and I haven't found something I love, and that doesn't mean I won't return- I just haven't found it yet. The staff and atmosphere and cozy seating makes up for the lack in food.

A very fun place with great drinks, fun food, and fun entertainment, like the Bobby Earl Band. The staff is as good as it gets, taking great care of us.

Lots of great food. Good music and ambience sports on TV and a general casual. Very nice atmosphere.

Sourdough was dry, not sour, not toasted, hard to chew, and some bits soggy. Asked for extra meat, definitely did not get extra meat or the base amount they use is embarrassingly low as I barely got any pieces of chicken. Torta (Chicken, Sourdough, Add Extra meat) - the only thing they got right was putting a bit of chicken. That's all I can really say in addition to comments left above. Cheesecake - price isn't absurd. It's a cheesecake, pretty consistent and standard. Nice chocolately touch even though that isn't made clear by the name or description, I thought it was a nice addition. However much I liked it, I don't think it's enough to raise my opinion of this spot overall especially because it wasn't extraordinary.
