The portions were generously-sized, the back terrace comfortable (though the table was a bit small for four hungry and thirsty people), and the service was outstanding--we didn't feel we were on a remote outpost of the business, as sometimes happens. Restroom clean, personnel had a laid-back but professional vibe. Good value!

I wish I lived closer because I would probably eat here a few times a week AT LEAST! Let me start by saying the staff is super warm & friendly! They greeted me warmly when I came in and showed me to a table. I was having a rather late lunch so I just wanted a couple apps: *A cup of tortilla soup-INSANELY GOOD! Loaded with shredded chicken, diced avocado and yummy tortillas all soaking in an amazingly seasoned tomato base! I started munching right away and almost forgot to squirt a lil lime in there. Let me tell you, delish with out, game changer with! Either way, you can't go wrong. *Fried calamari-fresh, crunchy, seasoned to perfection! I love that they also fried some limes and jalapenos with the calamari! Such a treat! If you are ever in the area..DO NOT PASS UP MAMA COCO's! Your taste buds will thank you :)

Mole. The best. Ceviche, perfect kick. Really good food in a family setting. Please keep these folks here and in business! I could write more words to fill things in, but that's it.

This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant! I recently had a birthday dinner of 20 people in the back patio area and not only was the food amazing, the staff was so helpful and accommodating. There are plenty of options for vegetarians (my favorites are the tostada salad and fajita quesadillas but the mole enchiladas are also amazing!) and meat eaters alike. The drink options are many and my friends loved the mango and spicy margaritas. The waiters are extremely kind, respectful, and fun! Maraisa especially is the best and got us the best spot in the restaurant. Don't sleep on this place!

Obsessed. The flavors are ON POINT - burrito, mole, both mild and hot salsas, the refreshing horchata make you feel like you just jumped into someone's home for a thoughtfully cooked meal. The low key ambience just drives home the point that the food is the centerpiece. We'll be back. A lot.

I don't do reviews often. I have maybe done 3 in 10 years but always because a rsstiraunt was amazing Not disappointing. This was for sure the worst Mexican food ever. Very bland. Maybe the family is from a different part of Mexico and I'm not familiar with their food. Service was way below average. First Menlo park restaurant that was a huge let down :(. If you are a foodie. Stay away! don't waste your time.

Menlo Park is filled with truly excellent Mexican restaurants. This is not one of them. It is a totally average experience with adequate service and a selection of Cal/Tex/Mex standards. Prices are a tad bit high for the quality but not outrageous. The good news is that everyone in town knows it is average so you can always find a table, even on Friday nights when every other place in town has long waits.

I am in love with the pork torta here. We have gotten it two days in a row for dinner and within this week, I am already craving it and would eat it a third time this week. The torta size is decent, not too large, but not too small - enough to fill you for a meal, but not so much that you are stuffed. We feel healthy eating this. The avocado really complements the pork and the whole sandwich concocts a warm comforting but healthy feeling. The salad accompanying is also tasty, especially with the salad dressing. Hubby, who doesn't even like salads, enjoys this salad. The salad is bright and refreshing and pairs nicely with the warm sandwich. Have tries the tacos, but those were nothing much to write home about - maybe because we ordered take out and maybe if you eat at the store, there may be other sauces? Not sure on this. Either way, get the torta!

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant. Maybe due to COVID when we were there, not too many customers, but we all enjoyed our food.

What a wonderful surprise Sunday after church we went and tables distanced nicely and we were greeted. Inside we ordered and food came out quickly and so delicious! Salad, enchiladas, 4 tacos & flauta dinners. So tasty, not just regular authentic but a level higher. Jicama In salad and tacos had a touch of freshness chefs twist on it THANKS MAMA COCO

Dish Latino owned please was a delight to visit. We were welcoming readers very nicely and given options to eat inside or out in the patio. We were given the menu where the variety of food and drinks existed. We were promptly taking our orders and our food was well prepared. It was delicious and it undoubtedly blew our minds away with how scrumptious it was. Especially the plate called Marisco which was served over coconut rice which was incredibly delicious. I was so jealous that I didn't order at first. And then I was surprised that they had on a daily basis what is considered a seasonal and most other restaurants the famous Capirotada. OMG it was the most delicious and flavorful capirotada since T I've tasted since my years in Mexico. Hi recommend this place come and enjoy especially the dessert.

IMHO Mama Coco was on my friend's foodie bucket list for a while ever since she saw it on "Check, Please!". We had our choice of tables before the lunchtime crowd and sat by the window. The dining room is colorful and inviting with pretty red and white tablecloths, and turquoise/yellow walls, and hanging paper stars and lacy flags strewn above. You have the option of dining in their outside back patio as well. My friend ordered the Tacos (plate of four), $18. Chicken, salsa verde/ Beef, chile de Arbol salsa/ Pastor, cored fresh pineapple/ Shrimp, chipotle aioli salsa. I ordered the Mole Enchiladas, $19. Corn tortilla, mozzarella cheese, sour cream, and choice of meat (chicken), served with red rice and black beans. Our friendly waitress recommended these to me and she was spot on. Slightly sweet and flavorful. The complimentary chips and salsa verde were slightly stale but we snacked on them anyway. Food was good. If I'm ever back in the area and craving Mexican food, this is the place!

I was skeptical walking in because it looked empty from the outside, but their patio area was pretty filled. Ordered the vegetarian chipotle enchilada and the fish tacos, which both impressed. The enchilada was the perfect amount of cheese, and the sauce was flavorful and rich yet not too heavy. The fish tacos were one of the best I've had! The fish was fried, which is usually not my cup of tea, but it was still hot by the fourth taco, which I was very happy with. Service was decent as well. Would go back for the fish tacos!

Great Mexican specialty dishes Great chef, cozy and cultural. I saw it on a TV show called " Check please", and off we went. The show made me hungry! Lol Order-!!! The tortilla soup The beef tacos The fish tacos The killer enchiladas Fresh shells , chopped ingredients Just flat out scrumptious! A rare 5 find. I bet their business hops from the show and the reviews as well. I will go back I'm sure! ‍. Just check out the photos!! Then go!
