The food here is good and I appreciate the lengths they go to to accommodate vegans. I enjoyed my pupusa with refried beans, it was hot and fresh and not greasy. It came with a sweet watery mildly spicy sauce as well as a lovely little slaw. I also had the taco combo with their signature vegan street tacos. The marinated vegan meat was savory and chewy, but the rice and beans were honestly the best part. The worst part? Paying $5 for a tiny cup of tasteless puréed guacamole. I placed an order through DoorDash and I called because the application does not give the option of no cream in the burritos and I called to say that if they could do it without cream and the woman who answered me was so rude, it seems that she does not know customer service and I He said he couldn't do it, no cream because it was already done after a minute of placing the order, call…..teach your employees how to treat the customer since we have their salary.

I Love Mami Cheli's - it's one of my favorite Mexican to-go places in the Bay Area. Their vegan burrito is really, really good. They do have vegan cheese.

I would not return for the pupusas. Slow service. People were nice enough. No coffee. Pupusas were very thick and mealy on the outside, stingy on the inside. Also stingy with crudite. No tomato sauce, but a tablespoon of ranch dressing. I have had pupusas in many places, and these were the worst. (Well, the ones I made at bome were even worse.). I had high hopes because this is not far from where I stay in Palo Alto. But I will not be back.

I wanted some good mexican food. I'm not familiar with the area, was visiting from southern california. Anyways we wanted to go to a different place but made a wrong turn, and somehow ended up at this place. The place looked like itd be ok, mexican music playing, it had the look too. Ordered some tacos, shrimp and asada. When the food came it looked pretty good. Tasted the asada tacos, the meat had no flavor whatsoever. It tasted like somebody boiled it in water and didnt even bother to put salt or anything. It was absolutely a no no. The shrimp taco was nothing special either, other then the flavor of the shrimp it was not enjoyable. I would not recommend this place to nobody. And its pricey on top of it all... Lol
