Just enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Menlo Tavern and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We requested a table in the bar area near the fireplace, and it was incredibly cozy. We had the grilled chicken salad along with soup and grilled cheese—everything was delicious. Don’t sleep on the fries either; they’re seriously the best! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the espresso martini was fabulous. I’ll definitely be back soon.

The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent, I had the pleasure of enjoying a good plate of food and some wonderful salads, I was in a place called dinner room and the waiter who attended me was very kind and attentive to my needs, he did not tell me his name, but he had some Spiderman tattoos on his arm and his partner Frank was also very attentive to offer me dessert, I really enjoyed my dinner and I will be back soon.

My butternut squash pasta was very good. It was on the specials list. Others had scallops (so so), salmon (so so) and one other type of fish that again was just so so. The avocado toast was fabulous and their tomato soup and butternut squash soups were very good.

We really wanted to like this place, and it has all the right elements, but couldn't execute the day we went. Our plates were both overcooked, and cold - bleh! I sent my plate ('Snapper') back, and it returned hot, but not remade, and still overcooked. My wife's salmon was doused in a ratatouille that overwhelmed the the taste of the fish. During the meal, we decided we wanted some bread, and it took 15 minutes, with the wait staff telling us a couple times, "It's coming..." By the time it came, we had finished eating, so we sent it back. We won't go again.

The atmosphere was wonderful—very cozy for a hotel restaurant. The portions were generous, and the food was nicely seasoned, not too salty. However, while we were still eating, the staff kept asking if they could clear our plates—at least ten times—which made it uncomfortable to fully relax and enjoy the experience. We continued ordering drinks, including rosé sparkling wine, but the frequent interruptions took away from the enjoyment. That said, it’s a perfect place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere.
