I spent a few weeks in Xinjiang a million years ago and ate laghman -- the Uyghur's national dish -- two or three times a day. Loved it loved it loved it. Hadn't had any in over 25 years, then recently moved to the area and saw that downtown Menlo Park had a Uyghur place. Woo hoo!
The noodles and sauce are perfect. (The meat is surprisingly low-quality so I ask for it without the meat and just get some flank steak slicked up for stir-fry at Whole Foods and cook that up at home to add.) The portion is generous and the dish keeps well in the fridge for a few days.
Great authentic Uyghur cuisine. Food are nice in huge portion. Love the milk tea and the yogurt. They are short staffed, especially during busy dining hours so don’t expect quick and adequate service. Other than that, it’s a great place for friends and family!
We were very happy to rediscover Uyghur Restaurant again. There was one in my town but closed few years ago.
Luckily I stumbled on this Uyghur Cuisine which is like 40 min from my house. Excellent food and service.
I will go again and already told my children about it.
I found their meals too oily and unnecessarily expensive. Those beef pieces in the stir fried noodles were not that chewable. The pumpkin mantas were deep fried rather than steamed.
Sooooo Good! Authentic!!!!
Love coming here with my family. Food is halal and delicious. Their portions are large, meant to be family style. We love getting the chicken korma (get the smaller option its still very large, enough to share 2-4 people), it is spicy with delicious hand-pulled noodles. The orange chicken is well tasty. My other favorite dishes are the laghman which has a zesty tomato base and the stir-fry beef noodles. Beef is cooked perfectly and well spiced. For most of the dishes, if you don’t prefer your food very spicy I would ask for less spicy. Their tea adds another level to your experience, if you are a tea girlie like me, get a pot of tea after your meal. They also have a small space and rugs for prayer! Lastly, it is family and women owned!
Nothing but good to say about this place. Delicious food and excellent service!
Great customer service, very nice dining area with a lot of Uyghur culture, absolutely loved it.
This is not the cuisine I have tried, the taste is really different. The pilaf and samsa dough with khe salad tasted sour. Lagman noodles were thick and not thin, not enough gravy.
Taste: 5 stars!
Service: 5 stars!
Atmosphere: 5 stars!
Gosh Naan was fresh and crispy with minced beef in it. Portion was a bit small though.
The best part of Stir Fried Noodles was Beef. Overall, the Noodles were delicious. Again, the portion could have been bigger.
Orange Chicken was scrumptious with right amount of sauce and just-right taste.
We were pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of the food.
Would like to come back and try other food items.

Food is fantastic, wonderfully spiced and very reasonably priced. One thing, the decor could use updating
The food was delicious. Personally I loved the salad and lamb skewers. The naan gosh was great too. The food was so good. My family loved it. The service is wonderful, the man who served us was very kind and gave us many recommendations. Great atmosphere also, very beautiful traditional Uighur decorations.
Genuinely the worst food I have ever had
One of the best restaurants in the area! For the main course, the Mongolian Beef and for the appetizer the gosh naan was super delicious. The portions and taste were very good for the price. The staff there were extremely friendly and nice as well. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Tasty Halal food and a nice atmosphere
