Party of 12. A few other parties on patio, zero inside. 40 min wait for cocktail. Had to ask bartender to send a wait twice. When we sat inside for dinner, waited another 20 min for a waiter while kitchen staff stared at us. Opened and poured our own water and wine (which I had preselected during an ealier that day visit). Waiter, when he got there, was friendly and did a good job from that point forward. Food is above average, some items good, but not good value for the price.

We enjoyed our visit, dining on the patio. A nice selection of wines by the glass and beer, and a somewhat limited menu (which was just fine - enough choices for just about anyone). We started with a wonderful warm asparagus salad. For mains, we had the gnocchi pomodoro and the mushroom flatbread. The gnocchi were amazingly light and fluffy and quite delicious. The flatbread was a nice mix of mushrooms, arugula and cheese. Given that we were on the somewhat breezy patio, the flatbread cooled off quickly and it would have been improved if served on a warmed-up plate. The setting on the patio was uncrowded with several family groups having a great time. It's a perfect spot if you have little ones but also want to enjoy a nice meal.

Amazing staff as soon as we valet the guys greeted us with a smile and adored our 🐶 🐶 Loved the open concept and casual style of restaurant. Drinks 🍸 were smooth and refreshing. The chef 👨🍳 made everything on point, appetizers delicioso 😋 and each main dish was perfect serving!👌 we even got special visits from chef 👨🍳 w/furbabies 🐕 🐕 We recommend & will be going back before we leave the Bay Area!

An under-stated spot for great food complemented by an equally great wine list. Music nights add another great layer to the experience. Most tender and moist chicken I've had. Well worth the visit!

this is a hidden gem.was not busy this wednesday night. truly excellent dishes from a somewhat smallish menu. wonderful spiced sashimi, for instance. squash soup. the mains change a bit. sometimes they have pan fried halibut which is perfectly done. ok "regular" wine list, with a pricey "reserve list". had a nice glass of chablis for$17. $35 corkage. noisy when full.....very good live music some nights. friday night in the adjoining bar can be busy and noisy. a definite repeat.

Part of the Park James Hotel food service that extends to their bar while the dining space also has the options for the indoor resto, outdoor courtyard and bar seating. The food is modern updated with the usual Cali-American fare. Service and waiters are very attentive. The bar selection is the main strength of the resto with a good selection of crafted cocktails and beers. The food is generally casual especially at the courtyard that can also be an events place or where they often have musical offerings.

DO NOT GRACE THIS ESTABLISHMENT WITH YOUR BUSINESS. They don't deserve it. The four of us went there for Thanksgiving Dinner. We are long term Menlo Park residents and thought we should try it. NO!!!!!!!! The service was good, but much of the food was a miss, and some was outright inedible. Dry, cold, burned on the edges, not seasoned... It was sooooo bad, that we actually laughed. OUR BILL WAS $530.00. And the worst: I called a couple days later to speak to the manager and left a message. When I didn't hear in a few days I called again and was reprimanded: he is a busy man; he will call when he can! He's had my message for about 10 days. I decided that it's time for a public review.
