The ambience is great, the gardens are very peaceful on a weekend. Food was ok, the steak was good but the salad with added chicken was almost inedible..
Restaurant menu has vegan options but the staff doesn’t know what that means. Order it vegan and they’ll ask if you want eggs and salmon and then they’ll serve it with cheese.
It would be better if they didn’t offer vegan option at all. At least I’d have known to go somewhere else.
Great ambience for us (party of 8) outdoors. Overall restaurant busy. Valet parking free for 2 hours. (Don't park in parking garage). Service excellent. The food and drink were very good.
Service and atmosphere are great. Staff are incredibly friendly. Food? The menu is interesting but, I can’t stress this enough, someone please help the kitchen find the salt.
Cassava chicken bites? Basically unsalted.
Fries with the burger? Same deal.
The kitchen needs to salt fried food when it comes out of the fryer so that the salt adheres to the food and seasons it adequately.
If I’m paying $27 for a burger and fries; you better salt the dang fries properly.
Also some mayo on the burger beyond just the dab of ketchup wouldn’t go astray.

Hotel Nia is the bomb diggy atmospherically • The restaurants outdoor patio has some seats that are made of big natural stones 🔛 pedestals 🪨 my absolute favorite snack was the mushroom 🍄🟫 nachos appetizer. I would’ve never expected combo o’ ingredients to come together to be this good 🎉 very #WellDone

Excellent food. Attentive, but slightly rushed service (bringing us the main course before we'd finished the appetizers). Sophisticated, but not stuffy, ambiance. Quiet enough to have a conversation. Enjoyed the evening.
Total train wreck. Seated at filthy table.
15 minutes before anyone approached us. Ordered food and drip coffee, requested table be cleaned and for silverware.
15 more minutes, no coffee, no silverware and still have a filthy table. 5 mins later my wife gets up, grabs napkins from the bar and starts wiping the table. Bus boy arrived minutes later and again cleaned the table... Keep in mind this is nearly 40 minutes since we were seated.
I asked for silverware, our coffee, water and a manager.
10 minutes pass.
Our drip coffee finally arrives. I request cream and sugar, it isn't offered.
5 minutes later part of our food arrives. Of the 3 meals ordered, one was wrong and one never came. I again asked for a manager.
Cream and sugar comes.
The $8 drip coffee is terrible.
My wife gets up and finds salt and pepper. The pepper grinder is filthy.
10 more minutes pass.
No 3rd meal, no reworked 2nd meal and no manager.
It was obvious other patrons were frustrated.
There were two visible servers, about 7 active tables and clearly no manager.
Avoid at all cost.

My husband and I enjoyed Mother's Day brunch buffet. Food was satisfying and just right for our appetite. Hope to come back soon!
Arrived on time for a 9AM breakfast reservation. No hostess. Walk into restaurant to try to find someone. Waiter goes to look for hostess, who comes out after a few minutes. Takes us to a covered patio with 8 tables. Seats us at the only table without silverware/napkins, and then goes to get menus. We realized the table has crumbs and syrup drippings so move to a set table. Menu in no way resembles that on Open Table. Waiter finally comes and we reluctantly order. Eight people in the restaurant and it takes 30 minutes for pancakes (which were supposed to be ricotta/lemon but were in reality simple buttermilk) and a breakfast sandwich to arrive. My wife ordered a latte at the onset which never showed up, except on the bill. Tried to get manager's attention from across the room but was ignored. Had to wait 15 minutes for the bill. Not impressed.
Porta Blu is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food. My friend and I visited for the Passport dinners with wine pairing, and everything was perfect, starting from the entrance. I especially appreciated the conversation with the chef; I am sure he is a future star of our culinary scene. I definetly will be back for another food events.
