We love everything about Stacks... the food, the atmosphere, the staff. It couldn't be a more welcoming place. Breakfast there is our favorite...wonderful pancakes, omelets, fruit, and breakfast meat. We're often out of town and one of our first events when we're back, is breakfast at Stacks!

This Stacks is NOT good - the other Stacks are better. I ordered a cappuccino, 2 scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. Now, the service was nice and the coffee and food came out very fast.
However, the eggs were fine, nothing special but the turkey bacon was inedible. It was full of gristle, wayyy too salty - you can even see how terrible the texture is in the photo.
So essentially - I just paid $21 for 2 eggs and a coffee. Never again.

We ordered takeout, and while the food was fine, the experience was disappointing. Our total came to $41, and when I chose not to leave a tip, the waitress became noticeably disrespectful.
For takeout, tipping should remain optional, and customers shouldn’t feel judged for their choice. I hope management can provide training so all guests feel respected, whether dining in or simply picking up food.

Simple but delicious breakfast staple in Menlo Park. The portion is big and the service is great!

First the good. The service was fast and pleasant. Now the bad. This is beyond a doubt the worst Stacks I have visited. And I have eaten here multiple times. One word would describe the place “MEDIOCRE”. It’s like a restaurant run on autopilot and nobody really cares about doing things better. This time I had the bagel and lox. Only a store style plain bagel, thinly sliced tomatoes and onions. Wasn’t awful, but was far from good. Whomever manages this place should step it up.

Since arriving to this Palo Alto/Menlo Park area 4 years ago, I have not found a better breakfast/brunch spot.
Service is prompt, food is great! Portions are generous, and the people who gather there are kind and welcoming!!

The odor of burned toast was horrid. Very overpriced and underwhelming waffle with apples. Waiter didn’t understand me when I asked for no whip and it came drenched with 4 scoops. Second order came with a long wait and the waffles were so soggy from the canned juicy apples. Four different staff approached me with no apology acting as if I was weird for wanting no whipped cream.

Last time I went here, I got a baileys an coffee, and the baileys was spoiled. The waitress did her very best to make it right, but when the food came, it was sub par. This place had definitely gone downhill in terms of quality.

Restrooms inaccessible! You need code(was posted on the wall) didn't work.Employee came by, didn't speak/understand English. Males in our group were able to get in by going in when he came out, but females were left hanging. Went down the elevator to the restaurant and spoke with waitstaff who said she would send someone. Nobody came. BTW when you come off the elevator you must pass by the kitchen backdoor and ALL the garbage cans!
Good food, service, and area of town!
