Just back from here, I ordered 6 cupcakes 3 mocha, 1 mint, 1 strawberry and 1 lemon. To my horror as I sit down to enjoy my cupcake with tea and take the first bite I taste PEANUT BUTTER! I absolutely DETEST peanut butter and now I have 3 of these cupcakes and wasted $$$. This is SO DISSAPOINTING! The sales associate seemed flustered, was messing up orders before me and clearly has now messed up my order. I cannot find a email address to complain to.I am a regular customer here and while the cupcakes are great this type of customer service is unacceptable at this price point!

One of the best carrot cakes in the area. Red velvet was pretty good, too. I like the ratio of the cream cheese frosting the cake layers. Carrot cake not dry and not overly spiced.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free products.

One of the best carrot cakes I've had. Moist cake with just the right amount of spices, nuts and carrot flavor. The cream cheese frosting gives it the sweet and slightly sour flavor to balance the nutty cake flavor. The red velvet cake had the same moist cake with the thick cream cheese frosting. Both kept well in the fridge even after 24 hours and both retained the same texture and flavor. The displays were quite inviting. This location is surrounded by restaurants which makes it convenient to find something sweet after having lunch or dinner. The staff were nice. Reasonable price especially if comparing the size and price of their cake slices to restaurants in the surrounding area.

I have ordered Susiecakes delivery before but had never bought from the store. I happened to be in Menlo Park and decided I needed something sweet. After going back and forth between the various cake slices, I opted for carrot cake. The carrot cake was moist, full of raisins/nuts and wasn't overly sweet which I was afraid of because of the frosting. What really stood out was the service - Peter was so nice and so friendly even as I took a few minutes to decide on what cake I wanted (while downloading the Susiecakes app to earn reward points).

I don't love everything at Susie's but the ones they do well, they do very well. For example their seasonal berry cakes (summer only) is my favorite berry cake. Luckily my husbands birthday falls in August so we get it at least once a year but usually more. Also there cupcakes are super moist and delicious. Especially their chocolate vanilla cupcake. However some items are way too sweet and dense for me. For example the vanilla celebration cake. I ended up having to cut off all the frosting and eat just the cake part. But even the cake part was too sweet and dense. I wonder why it's so different in texture vs the cupcakes which are so fluffy and moist. I also tried their marble cake and that was ok. Very sweet but not as dense as the celebration cake thankfully. So again, I would definitely continue to frequent Susie's but will just skip certain items on their menu.

I really like SusieCakes chocolate cake & was excited to try the holiday special chocolate peppermint cake this year. Unfortunately our splurge was a big disappointment. The chocolate cake is surrounded by green frosting that has crushed peppermint at every layer. It was overly sweet and the frosting actually reminded me of mint toothpaste. The cake would be way better if the peppermint candies were only in 1 or 2 layers of the frosting. This cake was a big, inexpensive fail for me

We are a susiecakes family. Sometimes I stop by just to grab a chocolate chip cookie for lunch. The slight saltiness is my favorite. But now is the time of year for their chocolate peppermint cake. IT IS THE BEEESSSSST. If you like candy canes and chocolate this is for you. Don't mind the inscription for my 6 year old son's cake. It was actually doordash's fault. Lol. He loves the cake so much he didn't care!

SusieCakes is the office go-to spot for celebrations of all kinds. It's so easy to order on DoorDash and rather delicious! The Red Velvet cupcakes are a crowd favorite at the office. I went into the store for the first time the other day and had such a wonderful interaction with employee behind the counter. If their cupcakes hadn't been enough to keep me coming back, the employees definitely would!! Highly recommend for any celebratory needs!

Great place for quality speciality cakes/cupcakes. They are famous for their red velvet! I tried the carrot this time and it was super delish! Loved that there were so much toppings in every bite. Not crowded at all when I came in...staff seemed generally friendly and helpful with redeeming things on my app.
