My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Yeobo. We had the oyster, uni, scallion croissant, amberjack, crispy anchovy rice and scallops. For dessert we had the milk cream with sesame and nut brittle. Everything was delicious. We were comfortably full. We had a corner table near the front so it wasn't noisy even though the restaurant was full. Highly recommended.
A remarkable and welcome addition to the Menlo Park food scene, which is thankfully improving. Yeobow Darling will be/is a destination restaurant for the entire peninsula and SF. It is simply superb in every respect.
Beautiful space. Excellent service. Food is good and creative but not many stand-out flavors.
Third time dining at Yeobo Darling and it never fails to please. We ordered all our favorites since we were finally lucky enough to get a larger table and bring our whole family - caviar, squash, scallion croissant, lu rou lasagna, sablefish, kalbi and several more. Every dish was a flavor delight. Will definitely return!
The staff was wonderful. Food was excellent. We appreciated that the staff explained the menu, gave excellent suggestions based on our pallets. Also gave excellent suggestions for amount to order.
Food was delicious and nicely presented. Enjoyed the same dishes we previously had. While food was excellent would appreciate some new dishes added to menu for subsequent visits.
Everything was top notch. From the service, the food, the ambiance. Perfect spot. Definitely will be back.
My husband and I were just here for our 2 years anniversary. They take walk ins for bar seating and there are 4 bar seats available at a time.
Definitely lived up to the hype. Flavors are very delicate, not overpowering at all. If you are looking for something extremely flavorful then this may not be a good fit. However, if you prefer lighter and refreshing profile, Yeobo Darling is the place for you. The sea urchin appetizer and the scallion croissants are MUST HAVEs.
The attention to service here is outstanding. Masha was helping us throughout the night and was extremely sweet and attentive. We got to learn about her story and vice versa - lots of nice conversations. Overall, 100% would come back and hopefully to see Masha again! :)

I had to wait for 20 minutes when I was on time for my reservation. Otherwise service was good
I had a great time here! Upscale and lovely ambiance, with wonderful and great staff as well. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and welcoming! I was able to walk in and get a seat at the bar with no reservation. The food was great, each course was interesting and really peaked my tasting interest. My only complaint is the price—this place is definitely probably meant for a tax bracket higher than mine be prepared to spend $60-$70 per person if not more! However the quality of the food did seem to match the price for me. Definitely recommend trying this place at least once if you ever visit the bay, or have an occasion to celebrate.

Everything was fine, but nothing to write home about. We got:
Scallion Croissant - Probably my favorite thing we tried, although I didn't get the pork floss or a ton of scallion flavor. It was a nice bread.
Tofu seafood stew - Good, but unsure how much better it is than a standard sundubu jjigae. I guess the seafood was well cooked (ie not overcooked as it often can be).
Shiitake mushroom & shrimp soup - Probably the one thing we ordered I could most easily make at home.
Duck risotto - This was my husband's favorite thing as it had a very smoky flavor and he loves that. I thought it was too much and that the smokiness was one-note.
Wagyu kalbi - Probably the most disappointing thing because the marinade overwhelms the wagyu. Ultimately, it just tastes like a standard $30-40 kalbi. Good, but unremarkable relative to other kalbi.
I think my issue is that for the price point and hype, I was expecting something more interesting or creative. I'm not Korean or Taiwanese, so I had no expectation for it to be traditional. I also didn't perceive it to be particularly exceptional in flavor or technique. It seemed like an expensive way to get standard food with nice service and atmosphere. They have cool utensil-holding tables.

We enjoyed our meal here. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was nice. The acoustics were good, with moderate noise, but we were still able to hear each other. The food got progressively better with each dish. My husband had the oysters, which he didn't like. Then we had a salad, which was OK, followed by the chicken wings. They were quite good, and I liked the addition of shishito peppers to the dish. We finished with a roasted duck dish, a special, that was very well prepared. Just a little spicy, with rare meat and crispy skin. Our only real complaint was that it was quite pricey, including a 6% health mandate.
Mediocre, not worth the price. Service is very good though.

The Food After setting notifications on OpenTable for about a month, finally got a reservation to try yeobo, darling. From some pictures, it seems like most dishes are tapas style, so my wife and I order a few dishes to share. We ordered - petite greens, sunflower, citrus, persimmon (salad) - santa barbara sea urchin, potato, konbu - yeobo, darling chicken wings - scallion croissant, rou song butter - hokkaido scallop, black bean, cauliflower - dark chocolate mousse, banana, injeolmi, walnut (dessert) All the dishes were very good and fresh. The petite greens were unique and fitting for the season. The chicken wings were juicy and tasty, acclaimed as one of the favorites. The Scallion Croissant stood out the most for me. It has similarities to a croissant, yet different. But the crunchy crust with a fluffy interior was a nice combination. The Miscellaneous The restaurant was decent sized, with a good amount of seating, though a bit tight together. They open mainly for dinner service, with ambiance dialed to a more intimate setting. Our server was very sincere and attentive, with helpful recommendations. The service of food was quite punctual as well. The menu has different varieties without being overwhelming. Alongside with the food, there is also dessert, beverages, cocktails, and wine. The restaurant gives a fine dining kind of vibe, so one should expect the higher prices. Do note the "optional" Quality of Life surcharge of 6% is included. Though only listed on one side of the beverage and dessert menu, but not on the main menu? 🤔 All in all, the fusion of asian cuisine and experience is very good, and worth the try.
we had a great time, queued up on a weekday night and got in after about an hour of waiting due to a cancellation - how lucky!
going with a proper korean meant that the stakes were high — i think the scallops turned out to be our favorite ironically. the kalbi was good but not that special, the hot stone was a nice touch tho keeping each piece warm — the cucumber banchan was really acidic and sweet, i ordered another for $3.50! scallion croissant was aesthetic and quite good, but very greasy especially with butter on top, and wished there were both scallions and rou song to cut the grease a bit and add more flavor — but again, food came hot and the butter melted nicely. the pine nut noods were also a pleasant surprise.
i appreciate the attention to detail, especially the heat of each dish when served and the presentation. i think the karat cake was a bit too rich, but yea, not too sweet.
