Beautiful restaurant, but honestly it is so loud inside. They had a 12 person birthday party inside and another table brought two toddlers who were throwing toys and screaming throughout dinner
Everything tastes good though. The uni potato is marvelous.
Service is fine, but you can tell the wait staff is inexperienced. Also they charge a San Mateo county fee which is kinda annoying

My husband said he liked this more than Kiln and Californios.

I’d been looking forward to trying Yeobo Darling since we loved Maum, and I was curious about their new concept. Overall, it feels a bit hyped up, but it’s still a nice spot for a date or special night out.
Here’s what we ordered:
• Scallion Croissant – Came with butter and pork floss. Very unique and tasty, though a bit on the oily side.
• Lu Rou Lasagna – Interesting idea, but it really just tasted like regular lasagna. Didn’t quite capture the lu rou flavor.
• Wagyu Kalbi – Delicious and full of flavor. Definitely one of the highlights.
• Scallops with Cauliflower Sauce – Perfectly cooked and really good balance of flavors.
• Chicken Wings – Crispy and solid, just what you’d expect for Korean chicken wings.
• Crispy Anchovy Rice – Just okay, nothing special compared to the other dishes.
Overall, some hits and some misses, but still an enjoyable experience and worth checking out at least once.
Everything is delicious. The chicken liver explodes in my mouth

It’s definitely on the expensive side. Leaving the price aside, everything we got tasted amazing. I’d love to go back again.

The flavors were good, but the portions were extremely small for the price. Service was not very attentive, which made the overall experience feel underwhelming. Probably wouldn’t return unless improvements are made.

I really appreciate the elevated Asian flavor served with a modern and nice vibe. After seeing a lot of negative reviews, I feel I need to give this five stars to do it justice.
I'm not sure why so many people complain it’s overpriced. The ingredients are good, and the food is obviously labor-intensive; I truly appreciate the effort. Their flavor might not be the typical heavy-salt, heavy-sauce type of Asian food, but it’s exactly the sophisticated Asian flavor we are lacking in the market.
I truly enjoyed my meal. The flavors were nice, subtle, and delicate. Two of us had such a great time of our celebration dinner with drinks. Yes, it’s not cheap—we spent about $200 per person (plus tips and drinks, everything included)—but that’s the level of the dining experience this is, and I think they nail it.
I hope more people can enjoy and appreciate elevated Asian-inspired flavors done in a thoughtful way. We will come back.

The ambiance is beautiful and the service was quick and attentive. But the price for value is weak. It cost over $200 for two people and at that price point I expected more wow in terms of flavour. My favourite was the galbi! I found the kimchi too sour though.

What a memorable experience from start to finish! The space is cozy and elegant, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Service was truly top-notch: attentive, knowledgeable, and seamless from start to finish.
Every dish was crafted with thought and presented beautifully.
We started with the sweet petite oysters and the Kaluga hybrid caviar. The caviar dish was rich and buttery, each bite had just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess, thanks to the sweet potato and beurre blanc. The sweet petite oysters are served with a delicate ice made from white kimchi liquid. This was unique, refreshing, and layered in flavor.
The scallion croissant was delicious and a must try. We also enjoyed the chicken wings (crispy and flavorful) and the lu rou lasagna. The galbi was so tasty, tender and flavorful and great to pair with the crispy rice with anchovies. The tilefish dish ended up being the unexpected favorite for me - perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. We ordered all of their desserts, and every single of them were good, but the Karat cake was the star. It is hands down the best carrot cake I have ever eaten – moist and unforgettable.
Don’t forget to try their soju cocktails. They are creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food.
Overhyped and overpriced. Price is lore reflective of the location than the food

Definitely on the pricey side and lacks highlight. Cocktails and desserts were a bit disappointing; service could be better (you should either have clearer distinction between waiters and bussers, or train everyone to be comfortable to interact with guests).
Normally I would've rated this place 4/5, but I tend to be stricter than Google average and I genuinely believe this place is currently underrated. It should've gotten ~4.3 despite my disappointment.

Casual place (saw people wearing t-shirts and shorts). Not sure why it was so hard to get a reservation—I saw open tables when I was last there. Food was okay, but not worth the price. It missed the wow pop of flavor. Maybe it was the new chef they had preparing the meals. The dishes were prepared well.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that has put a lot of thought and execution to their food then this is the place to try! Anyone who is a carb lover like myself will want to devour more than one scallion croissant. My personal favorite was the wagyu beef tartare. I loved the lu rou lasagna. It tasted just like it’s suppose to be and you can’t go wrong with the duroc pork or kalbi. For dessert the karat cake was a winner!
The food was the biggest disappointment. At this price point we were expecting Michelin level flavors but what we got was certainly not close. The potato jeon was the first dish. The prosciutto put way too much salt into the bite and overpowers everything else. Second dish was the scallion croissant. It was good, it was crispy, soft, and the butter went with it nicely. Next was the anchovy rice. It tasted like a very average rice bowl, I could barely taste the anchovy. The wagyu was the final dish and it was well cooked, marinade was on the saltier side. Side dishes that accompanied it were average. Overall the food tasted average, I didn’t feel like it differentiated itself from other Asian eateries or tasted much better than the Bay Area average.

Yeabo, Darling is a truly amazing restaurant! The dishes are gorgeous and creative, as well as, delicious. The staff was exemplary- checking in frequently to make sure everything was ok and also providing tips on ordering. The ambiance is very high end with comfortable furnishings, a perfect complement to the food. We loved everything we tried, and ended the meal with the chef's original 14 Karat Cake, complete with edible gold foil on top! Loved, loved, loved it :)
