I stopped going to this Applebee’s for about a year, and after returning, I can say it’s definitely not the same specially at the bar. The manager was unprofessional and seemed to lack basic knowledge of her role. She was rude and pressured us to order more food in order to continue serving us beer. We were already full and did not want to order more food. Because of that alone, she refused to sell us more beer. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that there were other customers at the bar who had been there since before we arrived, and we never once saw them order food—yet they continued to be served without any issue. This inconsistency felt discriminatory and unfair. Overall, the manager’s attitude was rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Because of this experience, my friends and I will not be returning, and I’m sure other customers will be lost as well. It’s disappointing, because the previous manager—a young man—was always professional and respectful, and we never had any problems under his management. Unfortunately, with the current management, this location has gone downhill

visited this restaurant with my children because they really enjoy the food here. Unfortunately, our experience was affected by the behavior of our server. From the beginning, her responses, gestures, and tone of voice were noticeably rude. It got to the point where I had to leave my table and speak to the store manager to request that the server no longer attend to our table. The manager agreed without asking for details. The server later returned and apologized for her behavior, which I did appreciate. She also said she wanted to make things right. However, I had already asked the manager not to send her back, and I stand by that request. When I take my children out to eat, I expect a pleasant experience—not disrespect or a server in a bad mood taking it out on us. What made the situation even more disappointing is that it wasn’t during a busy rush. It was around 12:00 p.m., so there was no obvious reason for that kind of treatment.
