I was at Bella Luna on 8/26. The service was wonderful but the food was lacking. The calamari was over cooked very chewy and the canolies were not true to Italia. The filling lack luster. For the price in Merced,CA it is not worth it. I am a true Italian so my assessment is critical I understand but really in today's economy I expected more. I will drive thru to not settle for unappealing food.
after two disappointing visits with the previous owners decided to give this place another chance under the new ownership..
AMAZING.. The food was wonderful, the customer service was beyond awesome.
The new ownership has truly gone above&beyond in turning this place around! I strongly suggest you visit this establishment for lunch dinner appetizers desserts or even just for the drinks everything was truly amazing job well done.Brlla
The food was awesome...service was impeccable. Sarah our waitress was "on it"! The owner was very friendly and welcoming...he was also a fellow Native San Franciscan.
I would totally go back and I would highly recommend the restaurant to friends and family...ciao!!!
