The meat servings are very scimpy. I asked for more she gave me 2 tiny extra pieces

When I brought the error to the staff's attention, the general manager Payton , came over. I explained the issue calmly, but her reaction was instantly defensive and incredibly rude. She spoke to me with a dismissive tone, a patronizing attitude, & handled the situation with unnecessary hostility. My order was bagged up and when I got home I was given the wrong bowl, I came in previous to that and the top to my bowl wasn’t on correctly and my bowl ended up all over the paper bag. Payton also wanted to argue in front of other customers which is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, making me feel so disrespected and belittled.
Instead of apologizing and offering a quick solution, Payton seemed determined to argue that I was somehow wrong despite clear evidence to the contrary, she kept interrupting me, & raised her voice. This is not how a professional establishment should handle a service recovery. Payton’s goal seemed to be to pick a fight rather than ensure customer satisfaction.
The combination of a basic order error and the manager Payton’s appalling behavior ruined my experience. I understand that mistakes occur, but the staff, and especially management, should be trained to resolve issues gracefully, not escalate them into arguments. I strongly recommend that potential customers avoid this location until management addresses these serious customer service issues.

Someone’s not following ingredients or something. Put Jalapeños in the fajita veggies. No it wasn’t the corn salsa. I got that in the side. You can even tell in the sauté the different peppers. I had a GI surgery and couldn’t eat it. Tried calling the store but no one answered. The raw one in the picture is the corn salsa. The darker one is the grilled bell pepper and the light pale green is the grilled jalapeños. Obvious that it is no bell pepper.

Paying prime dollar for beans and rice with a hint of protein. The amount of protein you get is so small that you have to look for it in your bowl or burrito. They fill it with rice and beans and other fillers.

They piled it on for burritos but tacos I had one which was charged for about half the cost of the burrito and I got a chintzy little scoop of meat and the manager would not give me more … have it my way … I think not

The manager demonstrated exceptional customer service. She was professional, efficient, and extremely helpful throughout our interaction. Her approachable demeanor and prompt assistance were greatly appreciated. I believe her name is Sam, and I hope she is recognized for her excellent work.

This chipotle takes the crown for the worse customer service in food service from all of merced , i Just went in here and the cashier and the manager id assume was the manager by the way she was yelling at people ,as soon as i walked in they where already making ugly faces at me i should have just walked out but i stayed just cause i was on lunch break and was in a hurry ,the cashier and the manager where making jokes and references abought corn really corn jokes at me the whole time i was in there and when i was leaving i asked for a spoon and they where like oh its over there by the corn,whats up with them that is very childish as soon as they said that all the employees started laughing ,i will no longer be coming to this location
I’ve been a regular customer at this Chipotle location for some time now, and I’ve always appreciated the friendly service and consistent quality until recently. Since the new manager, Peyton, took over, the overall experience has noticeably declined.
One of the most disappointing changes was the departure of Christina, a former manager who truly set the standard for excellent customer service. Christina consistently ensured that guests were taken care of efficiently and respectfully. She created a welcoming environment, always supported her staff, and went the extra mile to uphold the quality and standards we came to expect from Chipotle.
Unfortunately, since her departure, there has been a significant shift in atmosphere and service. The current management seems disorganized and inattentive. Ordering now feels rushed, and the quality of the food often falls short whether it’s underportioned, poorly prepared, or not as fresh as it used to be.
It’s disheartening to see such a great team dynamic and customer experience deteriorate under new leadership. I hope upper management takes a closer look at how these recent changes are impacting both the staff and the customers. For the sake of this location’s reputation and the hardworking team that remains, I sincerely hope corrective action is taken starting with re-evaluating the current management.
Chipotle should be a place where both employees feel supported and customers feel valued. I hope to see this location return to those standards soon.
