Our waiter was exceptional. He’s the best waiter that I have seen in a long time very friendly on top of the order. Other people can learn a lot from him good experience.

I usually don’t give bad reviews or reviews at all but this time, I truly felt the need to share my experience. My family and I are regular customers at Denny’s, mostly during the morning hours. The service is usually great, and the food is good.

Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the night shift. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my food, the coffee was cold, and the service was poor. On top of that, the person at the front counter snatched the receipt from my hand and gave me attitude. It also took him more than five minutes just to ring me up

I came here to work late night on my computer (like I usually do when in town) and I couldn’t connect to WiFi. I asked for assistance, the male manager with grey hair and glasses came over. He was showing me how it was working on his device explaining the basic steps of selecting WiFi and how the service portal pops up for him so there’s no problem. (The whole point was- this was not working for me, the portal wouldn’t pop up) so I replied “I hear you, respectfully, what I’m trying to explain is the portal doesn’t pop up for me” he walks away without saying a word, and so I asked as he walked away “you’re just going to walk away? I was just trying to tell you that the portal isn’t working” so which he replied “I was trynna show you but it’s cool” in a super hostile manner, then when I told the server how he was towards me and how it made me uncomfortable she apologized for him, and said she didn’t want to say anything because she may get in trouble by him…. So basically created a hostile environment for i don’t even know what reason…fragile ego? Super weird. I hope corporate reads this. You guys can do better than him in management… super weird

Waited an hour to be seated. I understand the large group we were(11) but the attendant kept telling me minutes of wait and ending up waiting longer. We could’ve gone to other restaurants if we were told longer waiting time. Then when we were seated, it took a while for them to take our order. It probably took us 2 hours to get to eat.

We were there Friday night June 6th after the tractor pull and truck pull from the fairgrounds in Merced. We arrived about 9:00 it was a friend of mine who and I we set the counter cuz there was a waiting list and we didn't want to wait and we had a server named Christina who had the biggest smile who was so friendly and so prompt and I took the time to ask us how everything was and was very very attentive to everything we needed. She did such a wonderful job and with a great attitude and with a great smile she lift the room when she smiled thank you we took her heavily and she would make a great manager PR worker she was great if I go back to Merced and I live about an hour and a half away I will stop in just to have her a service she was that good thank you Christina the food was good but she was great
