“I went to a special event, Rewind Brunch, the Dj (dj tag) was amazing playing all the throwbacks! However, the server helping the waitress, delivered our food and spilled the syrup container ON MY CLOTHES AND THE CHAIR! The whole experience went downhill with POOR customer service from there. The syrup spill was cleaned by us with our napkins from the table, the guy cleaned the floor with those napkins left it a sticky mess, didnt offer to switch the chair that was dripping syrup. I switched it myself with a chair that was left on the side. The guy never returned to completely clean the mess, floor stayed sticky and still had some syrup. Due to space around us this was the only side of the table we could sit at without blocking anyone from passing or feeling too crowded. That server was no where to be found again, didnt replenish our napkins used for the mess so, we had none while eating. With my feet up on the base of the table to avoid future mess on my outfit. The DJs significant other came and noticed the mess and asked what happened, since the guy and waitress were no where to be found she went directly to the manager who said she would talk to us and help fix the situation. Never showed, and now nearly finished with our food, our waitress came to check on us and we let her know what had happened she couldn't believe it and said she would send the manager over because its not acceptable. Even then she STILL didnt show up. I understand they had a full house and things were hectic but customer service and mistakes like this should never happen especially following up with a situation as such. There way of “fixing” the situation without speaking with us was just giving us a free drink. Do better Mainzer Staff. Little did they know I was one of their sponsors for an upcoming brunch event and for being a terrible first time experience I may have to reconsider. I would hate to sponsor a place if someone else received the same service.“
