Great bahn mi! I usually get the mixed lunch meat one but the lemongrass chicken is also great but pretty salty. Bread is always perfectly toasty. Probably the best rolls in town. Generous with the toppings, always full after one of these

I have traveled the world (including Vietnam) searching for the best tofu banh mí and I have yet to find a better one than Donut King in Merced. They bake their own sandwich bread and the tofu is incredibly flavorful. They dont skimp on the veggies and cilantro either. The donuts are also melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The price point is excellent. Service is friendly and its run by a local family. Only 2 tables to eat at so I usually carry out. I love Donut King and its the first place I stop whenever I come back to visit.

Amazing honeydew flavored tea! Also the lemon grass chicken sandwich is to die for. Hidden gem for sure in the area and the donuts are always fresh for sure. Don’t sleep on this place guys !
