Found a piece of metal wire in the Asada fries, haven't even got to eat half and saw it sticking out by the middle of the plate. Good thing it saw it before it got put in my mouth. Smh.

Some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time! I came to town for a visit & suggested we go there looks like they remodeled an old Taco Bell but that food is 1 million times better than any Taco Bell!!! I have the machaca and eggs breakfast and it was muy delicioso!!!😋

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Ordered 4 asada tacos. No flavor at all. Not even salt on the meat. Other coworkers ordered different things and it was all complete trash. Cashier was rude and no sense of customer service.

The real spots and better food are the other Maria's Taco Shop in Atwater and Modesto. This one in Merced just has very little meat and not made with love.Very little meat when ever i order my food here.If you don't believe check out the others Maria's Taco Shop.

Not good. I got the asada super burrito and it's very plain and dry. No flavor.
Ordered chips and guacamole for $7.99 on DoorDash and received soggy chips topped with what was supposed to be guacamole but was mostly tomato and onion as you can see in the photo.
Seriously, had to throw out the chips because they were all soggy and the guacamole was not on the side. Who does that? ☠️

Parking: My husband and I recently moved here to Merced. We had stopped at Maria Taco shop because they are open late (24hrs). I can not get my husband to eat anywhere else as of yet, and it's been a couple of months. He is the whitest Mexican I've ever known..lol.. just playing, although what I say about everything else is true. Thank you, Maria Taco Shop. You all are awesome, hands down
3 out of 4 of what we purchased wasn’t good. Would not come here again.
1) horchata was extremely sweet and had no flavor of horchata 0/5
2) chili verde fries had weird nacho cheese and cheap icebergs lettuce that reminds you of eating from a cheap cafeteria and the crinkle cut fries were microwave soggy 0/5
3) the breakfast taco was very disappointing with no flavor 0/5
4) tripas taco was the best. It was clean tasting and crispy 4/5
