Need breakfast on the cheap to get the day started? Then this is the go to for $1 bean and cheese burritos. Meat burritos are still a steal at $4 each (as of Oct 2025). They now have a cool little shed you can walk up a get burritos pretty quick. They start at 7am and run i think till noon? Not sure. Ive been there as late as 10am and they still sell them. Definitely at least a try it out once. Odds are it'll be on your go to lust too.

I went to the restaurant and I ordered as I always ordered every restaurant a steak burrito with everything on it and I asked the waitress what goes on a steak burrito she told me steak lettuce beans I I asked her did they serve peppers she say yes cook with onions I said I would like that And also sour cream. I did not ask for chicken on my burrito. I got chicken and very, very small diced up steak then the lady was arguing with me on the phone like I didn’t know what I ordered. It was a young girl that didn’t pay attention to what I said, and she talked real fast that I couldn’t really understand what she was saying she act like she really didn’t wanna wait on me, but the food is very good

Merced sure has a whole lot of Mexican restaurants, I was like a kid in a candy store..couldn't make up my mind which one to go to! So I asked around a bit, and learned a lot about a few of the favorites, but if you want the best burrito in Merced you got to hook up with Marie's Méxican Kitchen, and that's exactly what I did, and Iet me just say this about that huge burrito...it was Amazing! 5 stars all day long ☆☆☆☆☆

The hosting, waitresses and cooks all do an amazing job. Very family & friends oriented. The food is so authentic just like Mom's cooking. The restaurant is very nice & clean.
Well ....We used to love this place an went 15 or 10 years ago. The food was fresh,made with love. We ordered multiple dishes today. Very polite an good service. CONS: Rice has absolutely no flavor at all, beans were watery an kinda bland, the meat i got tasted old an like a very very cheap cut with lots of hard things an gristle. The others were super quiet an shocked because we remembered it being so authentic. Guys the secret was the good quality an taste of the product, When you start cutting costs to the point the food is like 4 out of 10 PLEASE START TRYUNG THE FOOD BEFORE IT GOES OUT. The tortilla was good an the sourcream were good. Soda maxhine tasted like it's needs to be cleaned horribly so the flavor is off . I would love to give this place a try again one day if they get somewhere near the quality they once were. I hope you guys can turn it around.

Ordered 15 bean & cheese burritos from here for work on a Monday morning. Some guy drinking coffee came up & poured salsa in a cup and sent me on my way. By 10 am break I was throwing up & feeling terrible. I had to leave work from how sick I got. Missed 3 days of work thanks to what we've (co workers & I )narrowed down to being the salsa since I was the only one who poured some on my burrito. I'll never go back NOT worth the risk.
