The name fits perfectly. It's not the best I've ever had, but I've never ever been disappointed at Pretty Good Burger. The menu is simple, the cost very reasonable, and the food pretty good/very good. Fries and tater tots = excellent. My only complaint is once in a while they are closed when advertised as open. You've been warned; it happens. Inside move: Get there during a Tuesday happy hour to try some unusual mini burgers that rock.
Vegetarian options: They have a "Pretty Good Fake Burger."
They were very busy but service was fast. Burgers were very flavorful. The tater tots and onion rings were good. Reasonable priced. We enjoyed it and will definitely return. Recommend you give it a try. Support local!

In Merced for vacation and passed by getting some pizza. Menu and reviews drew me in and the pictures sealed the deal. Went for lunch my last day in Merced and sad I’m leaving because this place is the truth when it comes to burgers ! Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Fries are definitely the best fries I’ve had and the house made ranch was perfection. We need a “pretty good burgers” in San Diego! Thank and I’ll be back next time I pass through Merced !

Happened in here after a recommendation from a colleague. Definitely better than "Pretty Good"! One of the best burgers I have had.
Vegetarian options: They offered a Impossible burger, vegan bun/cheese/sauce. Looked to have a separate grill even.

Burger is good and consistent. Same service all the time. Today's music choice had multiple inappropriate words, quite a bit of curse words.
