Rei Teppanyaki

I order spicy fried rice with new york steak and it was a 5/5. The spice was tolerable not to hot and the steak was cook perfect! I highly recommend

I guess the people hereonly serve people when they feel like it. I tried going here two times already and they came up with the excuse saying that they don’t have enough money to break one hundred dollars, but they’re charging pricey food. Just doesn’t make sense to me, but OK. Will never try this place! And I came the first time here they said they weren’t open, but it was already 12 o’clock

I don’t know what it was but we tried it today for the first time we got the chicken plate because it is pretty expensive but our first thought was “good food ain’t cheap” So many people have hyped this place up and man we were disappointed. For some reason this food wasn’t good. It was not worth the 20$ and the only thing that helped was the lemon. The rice was soft but oily. The chicken was dry and didn’t have much flavor. We hope to try this again in the future maybe we will get something else! 👍

A little on the pricey side compared to teriyaki don and Quicklys teriyaki chicken bowls. 21$ but if you don't want to drive all the way to the north side of Merced for teriyaki dons or Quicklys I guess it makes up for it.

The food here is always delicious, and I have no complaints about the quality. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were on point as usual. However, the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. I understand that it was Valentine’s Day, so delays were expected, but waiting an hour and 30 minutes for a simple meal from a food truck just didn’t feel worth it. At one point, I even tried calling the store to request a refund, but my call was ignored.

I really enjoy the food, but the lack of efficiency and communication was frustrating. If they can improve their service during busy times, this would easily be a 5-star spot.

My 3rd time at this Merced location(my usual is in atwater) and I always get amazing service, the phone call up to order pick up from Alberto, outstanding 👏 love his attitude, and positivity. I really appreciated his positivity today, definitely needed it. Thank you for good food and vibes ❤️

Merced offers a variety of ethnic food. You can stay away from Hispanic food by trying Rei Teppanyaki a type of Chinese food with an amazing twist. I'm getting addicted to this food. The veggies are good at the right tempature and a little crunchy. The rice is fully cooked then you add the meat and you have an exceptional food experience. And the chef does give you a generous portion for 2 meals. I just love this place.
