I don’t know what it was but we tried it today for the first time we got the chicken plate because it is pretty expensive but our first thought was “good food ain’t cheap” So many people have hyped this place up and man we were disappointed. For some reason this food wasn’t good. It was not worth the 20$ and the only thing that helped was the lemon. The rice was soft but oily. The chicken was dry and didn’t have much flavor. We hope to try this again in the future...
A little on the pricey side compared to teriyaki don and Quicklys teriyaki chicken bowls. 21$ but if you don't want to drive all the way to the north side of Merced for teriyaki dons or Quicklys I guess it makes up for it.
Food is amazing, Alberto from the Merced location always has my food on time and cooked to perfection. It's got chill vibes, friendly staff, and solid service. Definitely coming back!
