Really didn't want to leave a bad review, but it should be noted. I've never had bad meats from here before, but this years prime rib was ruined. I needed a 9 pound, and when I got home, the tag said just over 6 and a half. Yes, I should have looked, but I put my trust in these guys. He asked if I wanted it seasoned, which I always do, but this year was sooo over seasoned. It was terribly over salted. Was really let down and disappointed this year. I'm not saying I won't purchase here anymore because I will purchase another....just hoping I don't have another problem.

Just had my grandson pick up a rib roast, they charged 60.00 for a 4 lbs. It is no where near 4 lbs ridiculous, I had said I wouldn't shop at richwood again, now for sure I won't.

Twice I ordered beef from this place and twice they messed up my order. I ordered a prime rib over three weeks ago and even followed up to make sure the roast will be ready For pick up 12/28 for our annual prime rib dinner. Was not ready and had to scramble elsewhere to get a roast late in the game. Look elsewhere as they can't be trusted with your order.

So lucky to have this meat packing retail outlet nearby. The best place to get that just right cut for your smoker or bbq. You name it they have it and they have a great deli too. You can buy in bulk for large gatherings or just grab a couple of custom cut steaks from the counter. They also have all the sides, spices and seasonings you need. Ask for Josh. He is awesome and knows his stuff.
This is an excellent source of fresh meat. I buy meat there all the time my neighbors do also. I highly recommend this business

WATCH YOUR DATES ! Bought 30 lb box , New York stakes were packed 11 months ago, color wast the greatest, called , asked for store manager, got someone named Juan, said they were good for a year , I told him again they were packed 11 months ago , he said there good .... SMH. ...no no no , Buyer Beware!
