The exterior has plenty of parking and the interior is spacious. We have a party of 7, so I was a little worried we may have to split table, but they have a few large tables suitable for large party. We were greeted by the owner upon arrival and pick our table. The server came by to take our order and answered any questions we had. Definitely a must try! Stopped here while on a work trip and enjoyed the food so much.
The owner and his family are so kind. It was such a lovely spot with wholesome food.

My husband and I regularly eat at Sam’s Cafe and have been doing so for the past 6 years. My entire family and I would even order 10+ coffees each time we went because their Thai coffee is incredible so much so that we would buy extra to save in the fridge for the next day. Even when I was pregnant I craved Pad Thai like 2-3 times a week and only from here. Truly one of my favorite spots in all of Merced. Everyone is always so welcoming and the food is always delicious.
