I work for the truck and really enjoy the food, I've tried just about everything and the food is never salty like I Saw someone say,the Mac and cheese in on time the chicken and fish is delicious our frys are cut fresh daily,our fried Oreos are out of this world,, I suggest you come check us out, you will love the food

Honest review. Do NOT EAT here. Employees are nice, but do not waste your money here. You will be disappointed. No flavor, overly salty, drinks are overly sour and the breading they use tastes like sand in your mouth. Do not waste your money here.

The food was excellent here today! Friendly and timely service. The hotwater cornbread was delicious and a must have. I could actually eat that by itself. The fish today was great, everything was seasoned well. Loved the Mac n Cheese. The peach tea was refreshing. The only critique for improvement would be scale back just a little on the greens seasoning and let the meat do the work. I recommend this place! Thank you all!

They were at the Castle Air Museum this weekend and I tried the Philly cheese steak and garlic fries. It was the best Philly sandwich in these parts! It had good quality meat, right amount of seasoning, and the fries are great too. The staff is friendly and hats off to working in this heat on a day like today! You need to visit this place

So I had gotten a Mac bowl with cornbread on the side. I was thinking more traditional soul food, but I give it a two out of five. Honestly, the cornbread was different, but made up for the points. It was deep fried ball shaped and reminded me of the fair food with a hint of cornbread in the middle.
For the Mac bowl, it was OK. The popcorn chicken had some flavor, but I would say that the cheese sauce lacked flavor and the gave me more of a dry texture once it reached the tongue. I personally would not come back here, but I like the different approach that they tried to do.
I love symple soul! Every time I go there I am greeted with a huge smile and wonderful service by all staff members. The food is always good and fresh when ordered and the menu selection is always exciting!

Staff is nice, but the food is NOT it. I can cook everything better tbh, the only thing that was good was their fried cornballs. The collard greens taste like exactly like what it looks like, water, salt and bits of turkey. No real flavor whatsoever, mac and cheese has no flavor either. im disappointed because I paid over $60, the drinks are VERY small and it wasn't worth the hype. Never again, sorry. I can see old white people liking this food because thats how much SOUL it lacks.

I got the garlic fries and the mac bowl the Mac bowl was absolutely trash chicken was DRY and for the garlic fries they were way to greasy every fry had grease in each bite it’s way to overpriced for the food and wouldn’t recommend this place at all to anybody wish I could give 0 stars
