Tacos Al Mando

This has got to be in my top 3 taco trucks in this side of Merced. Their quesabirria tacos always hit the spot. I also really love their tortas and burritos. I would honestly eat here every day if I could. ? Trust me don't sleep on this truck if you are in the area by the fairgrounds stop in for some quesabirria tacos.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FOOD FROM THIS SPOT. THE QUESADILLA ARE SOOOO GOOD. ALSO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. THE LAST TIME I WENT THE GIRL THAT TOOK MY ORDER WAS VERY SWEAT. THE WAIT TIME IS REASONABLE, NOT TOO LONG.

I always wondered why I never see anyone stopping here. Gave the place a chance and now know why. Over priced, small, grizzly, dry tacos. How on earth does this place stay in business???

Driving through Merced we wanted to stop for a bite to eat. After checking the best reviewed taco trucks in town, we were led here, and we were not disappointed! Armando was extremely welcoming and provided amazing and genuine customer service. We got burritos for the ride back, and I’m already craving another! Great spot, don’t miss out!

I have tried a lot of taco trucks in Merced, but I will tell you that Tacos Al Mando has been my best taco truck so far. Their service was top-notch, and the owners were so nice and friendly. I have ordered carne asada tacos, burritos, and quesabirria, and I would say they all tasted so delicious. Also, the wait time for your order to be ready is short. One thing that makes them so exceptional compared to other taco places in Merced is that the owners always appreciate you patronizing their business. I would highly recommend Taco Al Mando to anyone.

This is the best truck in town. Very flavorful. The sauce they put on top of the quesadilla is delicious. My weekly cheat day spot.

I watched the food truck operator rip off a young man by refusing to give him the food items he paid for. The kid ordered tacos and was given the smaller street tacos that cost 1/2 the price. When it was brought to his attention, he said “take it or leave it! I don’t care if you call the cops, it’s under $100”. He then proceeded to call the parents names and call them racist for asking for the food item their son paid for. I had planned to buy food from him but walked away after seeing such poor behavior!

By far the best tacos I’ve had in my entire life. They definitely deserve 5 stars! My husband and I have tried taco trucks from Stanislaus county to Merced county in the Bay Area and many more areas but this one was definitely the freshest, most flavorful and the SPICIEST tacos I’ve had. And we love spicy. The yellow corn tortillas, PERFECT. The meat, PERFECT and FRESH. The extra spicy salsa ON POINT. Everything is prepped and made fresh daily which i absolutely love. Not to mention how kind and humble Mando and Monica were. Definitely great people who make AMAZING food. So if you are in the area or even not in the area I suggest you stop looking and give them a try. My family will definitely be coming back for more items on the menu! Thank you Mando and Monica!
