Everything I have tried here is really good. The lunch buffet is a great deal with good variety. I often grab samosas to go when I'm paying through and in a hurry. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.

I never have had Indian food but the combination dinner for two with pork was an amazing way to have a little bit of everything. My friends got the garlic naan so next time I’m gonna sub for that! Thank you for the waiter for being patient and amazing last night around 7pm.

This use to be my favorite Indian spot growing up, everyone knows it's gone down hill. Naan doesnt hold overnight, & Chicken Tikka tastes sour, obviously serving spoiled chicken, this happened to me 3 times. My favorite spot is Tumeric. Go there, not here

I have tried this multiple times. Love their foods. Tried chana masala, alu saag, chicken tikka masala and different types of Naans. All types of Naan were delicious. Always tried medium hot spice level and it fits with my south asian tongue.
Portion is good compared to the price.
Didn’t like the tea that much. The atmosphere is ok. Not very crowdy.

We asked for a chicken biryani and this is what we got. I don’t even know what to call this. Just chicken mixed with rice? We asked for medium spicy and it was extra spicy!

Passing through Merced on 7/5/24, I stopped off at this nice restaurant. The waitress was very friendly, and the food was good. Three chicken dishes, Naan, and two vegetarian options of Dal & Aloo Gobi. Reasonably priced buffet at $12, I believe. I have book-marked ToLI on my maps' account for future use.

For a long time, I was reluctant to try Indian food. I didn’t think I’d like it. One day my Wife bought us take out Chicken Tikka Masala. I was amazed, and I fell in love with it. It’s now my go-to take out food. The chicken, the rice, and the naan are all so good. The staff is also kind and friendly. I highly recommend this place. Best Indian food in Merced!

Delicious food! One of the best chicken tikka masala’s I’ve had in a long time. The tandoori chicken was super yummy and marinated well. Will definitely be back.

Honestly, they are very friendly and good energy. However, the problem is the food. Just disappointing. I’ve tried on three occasions now because they are so welcoming. Too bad, I really wanted to enjoy it.

This little place is a restaurant/buffet. I wouldn't call it much of a buffet with only 6 items to choose from. There was not much to choose from and the meat looked dry. I ended up ordering from the menu a vegetarian option. The dal makhani lacked flavor and was bland. The nan was hot and fluffy. Since it's a buffet, there was no service and to order off the menu you had to walk up to the register. I wouldn't come back for lackluster food.

Spectacular service, Lyra is a doll and goes above and beyond. Friendly service and knows her stuff! The food is ALWAYS epically delicious. Parm is one of the best cooks in Merced. I will never go to another Indian restaurant so long as I live in Merced and these doors are open. They always aim to please and the freshness of their food is amazing. Everything is made there. It’s a truly home cooked meal for a fair price. As for the atmosphere, it’s little like coming home when you walk in. There’s always someone to greet you as you enter and there is always a smile on their face. Dinner time is the best time to go, they really take great care of you the entire time you are there. And their vegan options are phenomenal, if that’s your thing. My personal favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala but substitute coconut cream for regular cream, as I’m lactose intolerant. Or to change it up I get the Tofu Masala. I come in hungry and leave feeling good about what I ordered and plenty of leftovers for the next days lunch! Thank you, TOLI for providing a truly superior dining experience in Merced.

Food, service, and overall experience here was fantastic! Staff was extremely friendly and explained several dishes so that I had a good idea of what they had to offer. I ended up getting the chicken curry and it was delicious.

Not good for vegetarians
Vegetarian options: Very limited vegetarian option. Insensitive to feeling and adequacy on the vegetarian front.

This is a sad place for an Indian restaurant. They serve low quality meat and curries. Most of the curry had raw chilly powder on it. Worst dinner ever.
