This place is much more authentic than most whitewashed Mexican food in Merced, an the fact they don't serve alcohol keeps all the rowdy people out no crazy loud music like other places either which is nice , not having to yell to communicate, very cozy Bitchin food?
We were impressed by the pupusas. They were very tasty. We also ordered some burritos and they were just ok. I didn't like the fact they had lettuce as I don't feel that it belongs in a good burrito.

If you're going to have terrible atmosphere and a dirty restaurant with terrible staff at least have good food. Food was terrible staff was terrible. This restaurant has a really bad smell restaurant was completely filthy and the food was not good at all I don't know how places like this stay open.
Had hankering for Mexican food and most eateries in proximity had closed early, pleasant surprise on authenticity and robust flavors of the served food. A bit under-staffed, but a charming and colorful joint to get some spicy and delicious grub!
I went with my family for the first time, the staff was really really nice, she made us feel comfortable and special. The chilaquiles were DELICIOUS, the torta as well the only thing I think it need to improve is the horchata besides that everything was fantastic. Also the decoration made us feel like if we were in Mexico.
Horrible..Horrible..wish I could post a picture of it
We thought we would try it since they are new. Waited 10 mins for menus the table that came in before us got menus after us, we had to wait for another table to finish with the menus before we got them. We ordered ice tea and oh boy were we surprised when we received raspberry tea. The salsa tasted as if it was Salas Verde from a jar you get at the store not freshly made like you would get from any other place in town. We just got up and paid for our drinks and left.
