A real hole in the wall place! Food is great and the owners are really nice. It is inside of a Carnicería but worth it.

Food is delish.
Owners are nice.
Food comes out fast.
Obviously not a sit down place since it lives in a small market.

Best authentic Northeastern Thai/ Isan/ Laotian food. Very good price. Highly recommend the papaya salad and tapioca drink. The tapioca drink will make you forget about boba tea, it is another level of sweet delicacy 👌🏻 very affordable price and friendly people

The owners are very kind and welcoming. It’s a pleasure to talk to them every time I go here. The food is always so delicious, the flavors are always bright and vibrant. I’ve enjoyed everything that I have ordered here before: Khao Poon, Red Curry, Papaya Salad, Lao Salad, and Lao Fried Chicken with Sticky Rice. Their Nam Vanh is so tasty as well (I ask for 50% sweetness.) They are take out only, and located inside of a mini mart. Their kitchen and service area is very clean and tidy.

I ordered the papaya salad it was not good, their was a small piece of hair on it. I couldn't bring it back because I already left the area. They should try and be more clean, their kitchen area looked messy.

This is an excellent little takeout restaurant. It's located in the back of a small butcher shop/mercado. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed our conversation and they even greeted another customer by name. It was such a pleasant experience in every way.
The extraordinary customer service was matched by some incredibly delicious food. The Lao fried chicken drumstick was crispy, flavorful, and fresh. It was still hot, even after the drive home. The red chicken curry was without a doubt the best curry I've ever had in Merced. Most of all, these dishes were less than 10 dollars, which is an incredible deal!
I strongly recommend this amazing restaurant. You should check it out if you're in the area! I can't wait to go back.

Literal hole in the wall. Would gatekeep this place but the owners are fantastic people and deserve more traffic.
Prices are absolutely out of the world. $5-7 for an entree and despite not having any place to eat I'd gladly come back again for their Thai iced tea and curry. This is practically on your way to Yosemite. Don't miss it!

Delicious food! We ordered one of almost everything and loved it. Better than our favorite Thai place where we live. Seems very authentic. Consider downgrading by one spice level -- we got the papaya salad medium and it was still really spicy. The definition of hole in the wall--it's located inside the carniceria (Mexican deli) in the corner of the plaza. They only do takeout, no tables to eat there. Prices were great and portions were large. Will definitely stop again.
