This was only our second time going to Toni's Courtyard Cafe. Every time our daughter had competition in Merced, we stop by before driving back home for brunch. The food is really yummy, the servers are very friendly, great ambiance - they played Elvis classics when I went there last and I loved it.

We happened to be in town and wanted some breakfast. With the power of yelp, we decided on Toni's. The reviews were amazing. We walked in and were quickly seated. We had the pleasure of having Denise as our server. She is a rockstar. Quick warning. This place got packed quick. That should tell you that this place is good. I ordered the chicken fried steak while the wifey went with the Maui French toast. I ordered the country potatoes without onions and bell peppers because I don't like either. If you do order the potatoes with the added onions and bell peppers, there is a charge. Weird right? The food came out fast. Time to eat. The chicken fried steak is definitely not made in house but was still good. The gravy on top was delicious. The wife really liked her French toast. If you're in Merced, Toni's is a great place for breakfast.

Food was super tasty! Service was exceptional. Ambiance was quaint. If you're stumped on where to eat in Merced definitely consider this place.

Quiches are my favorite! Love the patio seating. Very friendly, helpful staff. Ordered a 10 serving batch of their lentil soup to take to a vacation house. Delicious!

Honestly this place just annoys me now with how they nickel and dime the customer. A regular side of fries = 4$ and sweet potato = 6$. It's a 2$ difference. But if you add sweet potato fries to a sandwich you pay $4 but regular fries come with it. A side salad is 6$ and a small Caesar is 6.50 but with a sandwich a side salad is free but a Caesar costa $2. The pricing doesn't make sense and it's annoying. Their sandwiches aren't special and they already average 17$...id rather eat at better spots down town like H&W

I stopped here for breakfast while driving through the area. The high Yelp rating was the reason why I decided to eat here. The food and service were just OK. I was seated in the rear corner of the establishment and was forgotten by the wait staff even though I was only 1 of 5 patrons in the restaurant at the time. After 15 minutes of waiting, I decided to make my presence known. My food was mediocre at best. Maybe I caught them during off time? Sorry, but that was my weekday experience at roughly 10 AM.

The waitress was very sweet and had the best attitude. The chicken artichoke sandwhich was amazing along with the fries and ranch.

Very good food, extremely friendly and sweet wait staff. They have gluten-free bread to customize your sandwich and nondairy options for the coffee ❤️Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwich is very good. I have not had the veggie breakfast burrito but that is also on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Nondairy milks and gluten-free breads upon request.Kid-friendliness: Friendly atmosphere.

Country fried steak had more batter than chicken and over easy eggs were too undercooked. California omelette was ok. Great service but disappointing food.
