Sorry to say, chicken teriyaki was the driest chicken I’ve ever had. Beef sukiyaki was not too sirloin, but rather heavily streaked lower grade beef w lots of fat streaks ): Maybe the salmon is better, but I’ll never know. Hoping the sushi sashimi is better for people. Avoid the cooked meat ):

First time here. We discovered poke bowls in SoCal, specifically a franchise called Poke Chop and it has spoiled us. Their fish is fresh - Aloh-o's fish does not appear to be. Not only does the ahi tuna's and salmon's texture taste like it had been previously frozen, they both emit a very fishy smell. All the sides were good as was the brown rice - but you get a poke bowl for the fish. In addition, the tables were dirty, probably because they are understaffed. Shame, we would frequent this place if the fish were fresh.

I bought two teriyaki steak dinners and a large teriyaki chicken, it was a disappointment, the entire steak was thrown into the trash, extremely ugly food, I don't recommend it

Aloh-o is a great little local dive spot. Ambiance is nothing special, but the boba is good, it's very accessible, and the bowls are perfect when you're in a fix and need a basic dinner solution for the family. Good service.

I've been a customer at the Northgate Aloh-o, but only recently discovered their Strawberry restaurant, which is conveniently located right next to Safeway. Today I ordered a boba tea on their website but when I got there to pick it up, I realized they'd gotten the order wrong (not a big deal) I was okay with the substitute .. however the guy working tonight was so kind & polite. He went the extra mile and made me another boba free of charge! Thank you

Located right next to Safeway in the corner space.Dietary restrictions: You are able to select how sweet your drinks are from zero, regular, 25%, 50% etcParking: Lots of free parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly location, kids also love the bubble tea/Boba which is of a higher quality then a lot of Boba spots. It's all mixed on the spot and real ingredients VS places that just scoop out some power or syrup mix.

SO GOOD. I brought some back for my family and they said it's going to be their new spot - everyone loved what they ordered from teriyaki chicken to tuna to veggie bowl with lots of tofu, edamame, and avocado for protein. The mango and ginger and really nice.I'm seeing reviews for bowls over $20, but you'd have to be getting a lot of extras in order to hit that. All of ours were $13 and below and the bowls are packed and filling!!
