Overall A: comfortable, decorated, friendly, timely, tasty & fresh chicken pho and shrimp peanut salad that rivals our favorite SF Thai spot, Yummy Yummy. Recommend, and we shall return.

The waitstaff is lovely and the restaurant is beautiful but the kitchen staff needs to get it together. It took 30 mins to put up a to go order of 3 appetizers (pork buns, tuna bites, fries). My fries came without the aioli. The crackers under the tuna bites were stale while the tuna mixture itself was so salty. The meat of the pork buns was somehow dry and felt underportioned overall. It was disappointing.

This super cute, fresh food eatery is directly across the street from my new office and I have been dying to try it.
My waiter was friendly and there is a bar, football on the TV and appeared to be dog friendly. Will have to bring Luna next time.
I ordered the tiger prawn roll & the BBQ Bao pork buns that are deconstructed into a taco. Both were excellent and fresh.
Can't wait to go back and try the curry rice dish! They will definitely be seeing more of me..yum.

The restaurant atmosphere is superb. Staff are friendly, however I will not be coming here again. Sorry, the food is not as good. I've tried so many Asian fusion cuisines. The ingredient selection does not work. Tastes like American-Vietnamese war. I am not sure if the food designer has been to Asia or have been around studying the correct medley of spices, vegetables and meat together. I feel bad coz it's in a prime location. Please re-evaluate your menu. I wish you best, Boo Koo.

I have been here a bunch of time and not sure why I never left a review. I posted a bunch of pictures. I'm always a Bahn Mi fan so that's what I get 1/2 the time. Wish Boo Koo was a little closer to my home and would get there more often. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-21

I don’t know if I ordered the wrong stuff og was in on an unlucky day. I got the bahn mi with pork, and it was mostly just meat, a soggy baguette and very few veggies.

The food was good. I had the Seoul tacos, I added a tad of rice however to take the edge off the salt in the meat and the Kimchee. Added a few sprouts too and it was delicious.

Such a lovely spot! Made a spontaneous stop after a Tamalpas hike and was rejuvenated by home-brewed ginger soda and wonderful staff. Organic plates made with care and great owner.

Stopped by after hiking at Muir woods and found so many amazing vegan options. Almost everything can be made vegetarian and most things vegan. We got the spring rolls, the portobello sandwich, edamame, and an eggplant curry entree. Everything was amazing and the staff were so attentive and nice!! Definitely recommend!!

Went to this place with a friend for lunch a few weeks ago and the food was below average at best...not the great chicken pho flavors we were expecting.

Coconut soup great creamy & delicious
Brussels sprouts excellent-
Peanut noodle dish came too fast, and then was retuned cool ish, and mediocre flavor- bar should be more dimly lit to create more “romance”

Their Pad Thai is the best I’ve ever had.
