Exceeded expectations- great wine, delicious food, and wonderful ambiance. Grateful that they were open on Thanksgiving, too. Despite a full dining room it remained quiet. Strongly recommend, and get the short rib and branzino!

Several glitches made this experience disappointing. Slow service, incorrect drink delivery, no utensils on table when food arrived, servers abrupt, small servings of mediocre food. I want them to succeed, but they need to fine tune service, portions, and flavors.

Our server was amazing! 10/10 recommend this spot and the food was excellent as well. P.s. don't hesitate to try their espresso martini, the bartender knows how to make one properly!

I had not been to Paseo in a long time and now it is my new favorite place in Mill Valley. The ambience, the service and the food was incredible. I can't wait to go back!!!!!

The new menu I'm sure is fine for many people. It just didn't appeal to me. Specials would have been a nice addition particularly a fish dish other then the Bronzino on the menu. I had a Caesar salad with chicken and the croutons were crispy small slices of bread and very greasy. The entire salad was fishy from the anchovies and the extra few slices of chicken for an additional $14 were very tender. The pasta with mushrooms was gelatinous and we think it was left out too long before served. The Korean cauliflower appetizer was delicious as were the Parker house rolls. We love the atmosphere and appreciate when restaurants update menus to keep it fresh. But I'm afraid for me, it didn't work. I wish them good luck.

Ambience, space, table and service were all quite lovely, and we could enjoy our conversation without screaming over the music, which is def. a draw!! Would rate food itself as solidly good, but not great. Both of us felt that way. One entree was duck breast, the other one lamb chop. Enjoyed the parsnips and veggies on my plate more than the duck. A hard sear to bring crunch to the duck skin would've helped... or something to build more flavor in the meat. Same for the lamb chops. Decent wine options. Enjoyable evening overall, i will probably go back.

This place has so much charm, but the food came out cold and flavorless. The servers did not know proper serving etiquette and passed my dinner directly in front of my friend next to me. If you want to go for great ambienace order the soup and a burger.

Lovely place but we had mentioned it was a birthday celebration to the waitress. She then said, “we'll give you a special dessert!” The NY steak was tasteless, tuna was bland, hamburger didn't have that delicious flavor it should have. After the meal, a staff person asked if we wanted dessert. We said okay, thinking a special desert was coming. Nope- I had to ask for a candle! Waitress had disappeared. Our out of town guests felt let down with the lack luster approach for my husband's birthday.

Above and beyond service. Special thank you to Charlie (the host) and Maya (our server). On top of excellent food and setting, what is truly special about the restaurant and experience is the friendly and hospitable staff.

Excellent find in Mill Valley. Fresh ingredients and great for a light or heavier meal. Very nice wine list too!

For the price, the food was not remarkable. I enjoyed my glass of wine, and my other dining partners found their food acceptable, but it was not an experience I would consider to be memorable.

Slow and uneven service significantly diminished a potentially splendid Birthday dinner. Service has been an issue in the past as well. Portion sizes have also shrunk, making the increased prices difficult to justify. Paseo is still a charming place to celebrate but correctable service issues should be addressed.
