Exceedingly just alright from top to bottom. Good beer as one would hope. Our group of four adults sat outside which doubled as a playground. I would not recommend the schnitzel as the cut was unevenly thick, making the thin side overcooked and the thick side raw. I pointed out the inedible raw section to the waiter who acknowledged it as a known problem in the kitchen and I guess my problem for ordering it too. The other entrees looked pretty good. Again, right down the middle.
My young son and I were stranded today when our car was caught in a flood and stuck in deep water. My son hungry, cold and wet and we walked to Tam Tavern where he received an extra large portion of French fries for free before we had to go wait on the tow truck to arrive. You don’t find that kind of kind-hearted generosity often these days. We were staying at the Holiday Inn next door so we stopped in for a pizza & drinks. We also tried the Calamari and pierogies and everything was delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartender was really friendly and provided good service. The food was served hot and quickly.
