While not an expert I grew up in Detroit eating gyros as often as hamburgers. Hands down the best gyro I have had in ages. Warm soft pita, crisp fresh veggies, great house made sauce and really tasty gyro meat. And always friendly service from the owner. Small seating area so may need to plan to do take out versus eat in.

Beef gyro and add spice. Absolutely delicious.

This restaurant is amazing. Absolutely delicious. I mean the meat was perfectly cooked and the the flakes of the shavings had a really wonderful crispiness, it wasn’t too dried out like some gyro places, it was juicy tender delicious and had an excellent mouth feel also it was not overly greasy. I am not a big vegetable person, his harissa was luscious the tzatziki and had great flavor and spice. The tzatziki was perfect on the gyro. Yes the pita was also perfectly toasted. You could hold the whole gyro and the pita didn’t break apart. It had a lot of meat as well, the price was 13$ there was enough meat for me to justify the pricing. I came from Oklahoma where the prices are less but I didn’t have a problem with this price at all.

I added a video, so you all can see the consistency and how good this was.

However I want to address some of the bad reviews.
One person seemed disgruntled because of holiday hours I can understand that but that’s not really grounds for a bad review.

Someone said the quality had dipped and from my photo to the other ones online it was consistent, so I think maybe a customer bucking for a discount.

Also someone said his fake Grecian salad using iceberg ?!? This I felt was just a person hating, the fact the owner here changes select ingredients from some traditional items but it’s not to amend the flavors it actually enhances the flavors, and gives this light body airy texture to not only the tzatziki but he has this clean crisp spiciness of his harissa forming a perfect blend. Also in Greece the high end restaurants make their tzatziki in his fashion.

Also someone complained about a tortilla in the Schwarma ?!? Really this is one California to with the ingredients of the tahini the tortilla helps cut the bitterness. This is a very common chef move that they will do so they can showcase the flavors of an item in their dish. A common example of this is sometime people make garlic bread on toast because it’s a little sweeter and more buttery tasting verse French bread where it’s a little more garlicky.

I’m not a fan of tomatoes however the owner you can tell took time in vegetable selection as they were firm with unbroken skins. This little detail is indicative of this business owners drive to have great food.

Also the service was awesome he was polite friendly on time opened a little early also he doesn’t ask for tips or expect a Tip. I gave him one. This I felt was beyond awesome.

The onions also were good. Also you can tell the difference in his onions, the ones in his tzatziki had the crispness of freshness yet the subtle softness from the herbs. The fresh ones were to the right size. The lettuce he trims down for the crispier parts. The iceberg I felt was great.

His prices you can tell are from a business owner who cares about his customers. Where he could charge 15-17$ for a gyro he only charges 13$ so he can maintain top ingredient and full periods without passing the cost on to you the customer.

Also you can tell he takes his halal and kosher items extremely seriously in his kitchen.

This is a very big thing, because it’s a direct indication of this owners commitment to quality.

So I encourage you all to leave him a positive 5 star review and make sure you all drop in regularly.

The best way to support a local business is by going out there bringing your friends and having lunch and having a good time. So I was happy all the way around here.

Unreliable hours. Just visited for lunch on June 7th at 11:10am, their posted hours on Google Maps say open, as do the hours posted on the storefront, but they’re closed with no sign that they’re on a lunch break or anything.

Edit: I wish you a happy Eid al-Adha, it’s fine to close for that or any other reason, but please update your hours so that people don’t waste their time visiting when you know in advance that you will be closed.

Edit 2: I went back to give them another chance, and apparently they are closed on Mondays. Clearly they do not care enough to update their Google Maps listing (which at time of writing still says open on Mondays - I’ve suggested a change to the hours) even though they respond to reviews here. There is a sign that says they are closed on Mondays, at least. But that’s an hour of my life wasted going out of my way to visit this place, then visit it again hoping to give them a better review.

After a day in the city, we decided to grab a quick bite. Has’ place is rated nearly 5/5 on Google Maps, and it did not disappoint.

Has was incredibly friendly, and his food was amazing! The meatball sandwich was absolutely to die for. When he saw I had my little dog with me, he kindly asked if he could feed her. He brought out a plate full of meat and a bowl of water for her, completely free of charge.

He struck up a conversation with us, sharing stories about his business and life. The food was incredible, and the company made it even better.

I would highly recommend Has’ place to anyone looking for healthy, delicious food served with a smile.

All respect to Has!

This is no ordinary food truck, this is the Ferrari of food trucks. Conveniently located just off 101, parked at Goodmans and coincidently just a few hundred feet away from the Ferrari dealership. From the moment you walk up, you're greeted with the mouthwatering aroma. The sleek, sassy and stylish design of the joint itself is a splendiferous compliment to Mill Valley, but it’s the food that truly steals the show. I've had my fair share of gyros over the years, but nothing comes close to this place. Hands down, without a doubt, the best I've ever had throughout the entire world and let this not be an over statement, it is F’n BANG’N! Each bite keeps me wanting more. The star of the show was the sauce, creamy, tangy, and jacked up with his harissa sauce, which was the perfect blend. Just thinking of it has my mouth going tsunami, every component was designed to create an unforgettable rave in my mouth. And relative to raves, the what sounded like mediterranean lounge/house music playing in the background has your feet tapping while my mouth in chomping. Aroma, sound, design, and one of the kindest and smartest peeps I’ve come across, all synchronized, what the sugar dude, I loooooooove this place!

Every hardware store worth its salt has a food cart in the parking lot piping the savory smells of an active griddle into its doorways. Goodman's qualifies with Zorbas Gyros sitting on the south side of its lot, but takes it up another notch. The proprietor, Hasan, has created a very inviting place to refuel that is well above the quality of any lumber yard food cart I've ever been to. It's phenomenal. The service is great, the dining area is tidy, and everything I've tried off the menu has been delicious. Zorbas is definitely a lunch destination, not just a place to drop in if you're picking up supplies next door. Highly recommend. ??
