Fabulous meal. We were greeted kindly. Staff very attentive. Menu selection was plentiful, both breakfast and lunch. My husband ordered their special hot stone pot with chicken mango. 5 star presentation and so yummy. I had the Hemingway Benny. Again, presentation and taste were 5 star! Portions were more than generous. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Kitchen Sunnyside a few times. Love the atmosphere and the food is excellent quality.
Unfortunately, the last time I was here, I requested something because I thought the waiter had forgotten and he dared rolled his eyes, a bit annoyed. Not a good feeling.

Quaint little place, some outdoor seating. Food was made quickly, had a standard breakfast plate. The hash browns were like something you'd get at McDonald's or from when you were in middle school (bar of hash), boo.

I am not one to write reviews for places but sometimes it’s needed. My partner (who is black and I (Asian indian) came to hike at mt.tam and after looked for a place to eat that seems comforting. We chose this restaurant or the reviews as we are foodies! We wrote our names down and patiently waited for our names to be called and walked through the arts/craft market and people watched. When seated about 20 minutes later we were given water n a menu. We ended up waiting around for someone to come to our table to ask if we wanted a drink but no one came, however she waited on others beside us. I tried to flag our server down whom had seated us but when I had locked eyes with her she proceeded to help the tables beside us and far away then to come to our table. At some point another waiter behind the bar came out and took our order but with a lot of sighs in his breath and when asking what would we like, I sugggested to my partner to say her order where she told me to voice mine which when I looked up the waiter rolled his eyes. After my order was taken, hers was and he could not wait to walk away where my partner paused him and had to ask “wait isn’t there a side of bread that comes with it?” He said “yea”, she had to tell him ok I’ll just get the ciabatta, and he took our menus and walked away, the entire time we were not asked if we were ok, needed anything more, and even when receiving our food they would not look at us again when I just was wanting to politely ask for hot sauce. My purpose for this post is not to bring down anything. It is to show the restraint that was held. The crowd included a mix of white, Latin, and Asian- the waiters themselves were of Asian/filipino descent. After the initial lack of care for us was there I thought how nice would it be for them to have been treated the same in an establishment they had visited. I hope the waitress/hostess and the waiter behind the beverages bar learn how to treat everyone with kindness and respect, and at some point receive the same kindness and respect they gave to us back. We left a tip, but for ill treatment to what was someone’s skin color never deserves one again.

We came for brunch after church, right when they opened at 8:30. It was already busy.
The food was excellent. I can't recommend the croissant waffle enough. The prices are hit-or-miss for portion and expectations.
One meal (breakfast tacos) seemed like a great value but the chicken-and-waffles seemed a bit pricey for portion size.
I'm generally unconcerned with portion size, but I hope there is something amazing that outweighs feeling like I may need a snack after just eating breakfast.

This places was amazing, especially after a hike. Sometimes we visit places where the food looks beautiful but doesn't taste good. Well this isn't one of those places. Their presentations taste as good as they look. This is going to be my post hike brunch area from now on. I am looking forward to seeing the staff again because they added to the welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend the chicken and croffle(waffle pressed croissant) because that chicken was so tender and perfectly combined with the crunchy croffle.

Great healthy and less so healthy options for breakfast. They also have a couple tables outside which is nice. Some days wait can be a little long

We were checked in and seated quickly, orders taken smoothly and we didn’t have to wait long for anything although they seemed pretty busy. Food was REALLY good, I got the buttermilk pancakes with chicken apple sausage and Sunnyside eggs and my husband got the bulgogi Benny, everything was cooked to perfection super delicious can’t wait to come here again!
