The cuisine here is always inspired and absolutely delicious. And the atmosphere is wonderful. Very nice servers round out the experience.

I was disappointed sorry to say They were out of items I wanted to try and my order was never put in. My family was eating for a bit when I decided to ask about my dish - never ordered 😔 My families food was tasty thou Service was all over the place- too bad Don't think I'll be back for dinner

Love the food, love the ambience, but have noticed they seem to have a high turnover of dinner wait crew and have been a bit understaffed the last few times we have been in for dinner. I truly think Le Marais is a treasure and we are regulars, and am hoping they can staff up a bit for dinner. The daytime staff is just wonderful.

Delightful dinner with friends. The chicken and scallops were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance is light and airy. We will return.

I have been eaten hundreds of salad nicoise over the past 50 years, both in France and the USA. Today at Le Marais in Mill Valley I had the most disappointing one ever. The "greens" mostly consisted of tasteless stems from the butt end of a lettuce head. Something you would never serve to a guest. The rest of the salad wasn’t much better. I had a couple bites, then put it in a box to take it home because I didn’t want the kitchen to feel bad. I think this is the responsibility of management who designed the dish and set the specs. I hope they get the message.
On the other hand, my wife's croque monsieur was both beautiful and delicious.
The ladies working the counter were great, but our table had crumbs on it.
Please even out your standards. Thank you.

While the food was spectacularly good, the service felt rushed - twice, the bus staff tried to pull plates we were still actively/clearly eating from. I hope they can address this, as otherwise, it was an excellent dinner.

I’ve ordered several times via Williams Sonoma and the products are direct ship from the bakery. Generally I’ve always lost 30 to 40% of the product due to insufficient care in packaging but today I received an order that was shipped in a simple plain cardboard box, not even a shipping container with zero cold pack of any kind at all. Obviously the product had thawed and fully risen long before it reached me and there I could smell the spoiled dough before I opened the box. This company is obviously uninterested in shipping products anywhere. Don’t waist your time or your money.

I was so excited to try Le Marais but we had a not great experience. Our waitress was brand new so we tried to be extra patient. After a long wait to order we ordered a bottle of wine- she dropped off a half full bottle! Then she was completely frazzled af - never checked in after our food was delivered or apologized for the long wait- and then she never came back and sent the other very kind waiter to finish our service. The food was good but not sure I will go back.

Wait staff a bit overwhelmed by the V-day rush. Took a while to have order placed. Brought wrong drinks. Unaware of vegetarian options confirmed in advance by the Chef. Overall, the food was great, but maybe a bit too much. We wound up bringing a lot of it home as leftovers.

We had an incredible Valentine's Day dinner! Every course was delicious and it is our favorite place to dine anyway. Go......enjoy!

We had the best dinner we've had in Mill Valley in years. There was a prix fix menu for Valentine's Day and it was cohesive, perfectly executed and delicious. The dinner consisted of a salmon blini, followed by a mushroom bisque & little gem salad with Dungeness crab, avocado and pistachio. The main courses were halibut with sunchokes or a filet mignon with duchess potatoes and wine sauce. The desserts were profiteroles in a chocolate sauce or an almond cake with raspberry coulis. Sublime! Lastly, the service was excellent: our server was efficient, attentive and humorous. It was the perfect evening!

Le Marais has a great reputation. We had a bit of a mixed but very good experience for a Sat night dinner for 4. Food was excellent-Bouillabaisse 2 orders, Duck Breast & the Burger. All fantastic! Love the atmosphere-So pleasant because it's not loud. 👍🏼 Unfortunately, there was one server, one service person & another back up person. So service was slow-once our order was taken, the food came fairly quickly. 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because they were very short staffed. The cook staff does wonderful food. Will go back in the summer to take advantage of the fantastic outdoor space.

Great dinner at this cute Mill Valley French cafe. Food was excellent but service was a bit slow. Could have used some music too but the atmosphere was wonderful and not too loud. Perfect for conversation and enjoying French champagne. Will definitely go again.

I love this place! The only problem for me is how much open space there is you almost feel uncomfortable because you’re sitting in the middle of a giant room. Other than that, the food and service is amazing and I would highly recommended.

My first time to dine here for dinner and I feel that it is over rated: 1. The calamari was rubbery and hard to chew. 2. The entrees are over priced for bistro food. 3. We were charged for a higher price wine until I noticed and complained. 4. The customer is entitled to a printed itemized bill before paying, not a hand held screen. 5. Management of this chain needs to pay attention to these issues as well as understaffing.
