FYI: decide if you like Karaoke. Plan your visit accordingly. Food was very good and good value. Staff was super helpful and nice although a little slow at times due to covering the whole restaurant during karaoke. I'll definitely go back.
Nice, quiet and cute place near the water. Good for happy hours or a nice dinner. Familiar atmosphere and sweet spot to enjoy a drink. The noise level is very low and it is easy to chat and have a conversation.
I don't know what's going on with this restaurant's reputation, but locals seem to have a bias against it, even though the reviews (and our personal experience) are/was solid. We were literally warned by two separate individuals (one who lives in the area and one who lives in the actual community where the restaurant is) that we should avoid going to the Lighthouse. Well, it was a dark and stormy Saturday night and all the usual suspects were packed with no room at the inn for a party of 5 conference-goers. I read the reviews, which seemed to counter the locals' advice, and decided to go for it. We are so glad we did. The restaurant is difficult to find because you literally have to walk THROUGH a gym to continue on a path to get to it. It's lovely. It's on the water, it's well-appointed inside, with beautiful ambience (or am-beyonce). We were the only party there, which is sad for them, and great for us. Our server, Jake, was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and there is a large variety on the menu from which to choose (going against what the community member had told us), AND we were able to hear each other and have wonderful conversation (which had not been our experience at any of the previous restaurants we went to earlier in the week. Totally recommend. Don't listen to the jaded locals who may have old, biased information. 3 of our party had fish entrees (including whitefish), and 2 of us had salads. Appetizers were calamari, caprese salad, and truffle fries. Desserts were delectable: chocolate lava cake and the apple pocket.
This is a favorite of mine and my grandmother’s for a long brunch and lounge by the pool. We have been going here since I was a kid, seen transitions in ownership, and love the changes!! Some wait staff have been around for decades and the menu is straightforward and tasty!

Had my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner here for 20+ people - Manager Kenneth was easy to work with, staff was attentive, food was good, space was great (outdoor mingle, indoor seated dinner). Price was really reasonable - overall definitely recommend!

What a hidden gem...This was our first time going to the Lighthouse and had an exceptional experience. Waiter attentive, knowledgeable, friendly. The food and wine were fairly priced and all of our meals were excellent with the exception of the salmon as it was a little fishy. Desserts were over the top and tasty. The music was so fun and what a variety. Looking forward to another venture soon..
The grilled artichoke was delicious and the wild salmon was a generous sized portion served with lots of veggies. Next time I’ll try to take some photos of the food. We were hungry and ate quickly. Service was good and we had a chocolate lava cake for desert.
One star came off because the outdoor chairs were not very comfortable and ants kept crawling on the table.
Overall a fine meal with a nice wine selection.

Friendly and casual atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I had the BLT (BBLT), and it was one of the best I've ever had. Very fresh ingredients. Staff is courteous and responsive.

Exceptional. Lovely weather, on an inlet of the bay, perfect service and exceptional cuisine.

We all had fantastic salads and felt really well looked after by our wait staff. The views are some of the best in Southern Marin! Our only wish is that there were more selections without meat.
It was hard to wave down a waiter sitting outside. It was surprising to be charged for extra dressing since both our salads were dry.
Food and service were decent - nothing outstanding. We chose this venue for outdoor dining on the water (lovely view). However they only have 2 heat lamps for a very large area and both were broken. Amidst typical SF fog and wind, this made it impossible to sit outside (no one else did so either). This is really unacceptable. Furthermore, the Friday night MC hosted step dance indoors was not only hokey (think Midwest/middle America), but it was WAY too LOUD which made it virtually impossible to have a conversation with friends at our small table. We would have ordered more wine as well as coffee and dessert, but the noise was literally giving me a headache and really annoying. So we left the minute we finished dinner. Lousy atmosphere killed it for us.
a somewhat sterile interior with a lovely view ..terrible parking mediocer food but high prices ..a 20$ hamburger over cooked and not a wonderful ,, In general the Marin "LIGHTHOUSE " restaurants are wonderful for breakfast and this is the worst of the three lighthouses in Marin as far as the food... It serves as a convenient club house for the country club and it has night time hours and drinks so that makes it popular ,But it should be a lot better as its prices need to be lower and the quality of the food needs to be higher .
We brought another couple to the club for dinner and I believe everybody was impressed. It's always a beautiful view, our server Andrew was excellent, and the food was quite good.
