I'm so freaking done with this place. I had the worst experience trying to come to this bakery for the last 3 years straight every single time I've come it is closed, no signage on the door just the closed sign. I have driven 1.5 hrs each way just to come here and what a damn disappointment.

I even looked up the hours and it says open till 2 pm, I got here at 9:45 am and it is closed, the lights are off.

I don't care if you're baked goods are from the heavens at this point because this back and forth whiplash I'm getting trying to come here is not worth it at all.

Go elsewhere, there's plenty of other places around that serve better goods and are OPEN when they say they are open.

Great bakery, BUT:

Currently NO BREAD is available in the store, maybe will be available again starting in Sept 2025.

Also few pastries, only three kinds, were available at 9a, and the coffee machine is broken.

Lovely service and kind owner! Chocolate chip cookies were great.

Best scones on earth (leave me one, though)

I visited MV Baking Company after seeing great reviews and being in the area. The display featured a variety of tempting baked goods. I particularly enjoyed the lemon kouign amann, beignets filled with raspberry jam, cinnamon roll, pear croissant, and spinach and cheese croissant. I plan to try more items on my next visit. Although it's a small place, the quality of the baked goods reflects the baker's passion. If you intend to visit, it's best to go early; I arrived at 10 am on a Saturday and found many items are almost sold out.

Karen’s scones know no match - just heavenly. And while you are there, grab an olive loaf (if you get there early enough - they sell out!). She’s amazing.

You can feel the love and care the team puts into everything they make, and they’re so welcoming every time. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, the almond croissant is perfectly flaky, and the donuts are a delight. Honestly, everything we tried was just perfect

Karen’s bakery is a gem in the middle of Mill Valley. We are so fortunate to know that she got this business running during Covid and procures some of the most devine baked goods we have ever enjoyed in our entire life!
