My wife and I went on a much needed date night & chose Roberta because it was on our list of places to try in Marin. The Chefs welcomed my wife and I & the hostess sat us right away for an early Saturday night. We really enjoyed the dark wood decor and didn’t realize how big the place was. Service: Grill and sushi are in the name, so I got a grilled item and sushi, takeout. Order should have been ready before 7:30 pm, got there at 7:35 pm, and was told I still had to wait 15 mins.

The flavors are great and the portion sizes are ok but the prices are a little steep. I would expect salad and miso with my $28 dinner teriyaki plate. Instead it’s an additional $9.50. My partner enjoyed their sushi. Tempura tasted fresh and clean. Service was nice and timely.
