I Bicycled for an hour to get to this destination.I am only giving it 4 stars because Piper and Emi saved it from a one star reviewWhen I first entered, I was surprised at the bare shelves…and that there was no one in there … 9:30 AM on a Saturday morning! That was weird.but when I asked the young employees for recommendations, they had not tasted ANYTHING.So they could not recommend.This is on the owner… Why would neither employees be knowledgeable about what this “high end” bakery was selling?Finally, I settled on the brioche… Because EMI and piper said people liked it… (Although… They kept looking at each other with uncertainty about what to recommendWhen I bit into it, it was dry and stale…and, without a doubt, the worst briocheI’ve ever tasted in my entire life.This is not a superlative.This is a factWhen I walked it back into the store… Piper and Emi were very accommodating and offered me the spinach mushroom Galette at no additional charge. Smart response since this store was on its way to a one star review.By this time… When I tasted it, my expectations were very low.But I was quite surprised thatIt was the BEST savory galette I ever tasted!Chock-full of vegetables and flavor.Look at the photo… It looks beautiful… It taste even better!Upon leaving the employees told me that some of the ovens were broken.I don’t know… Maybe this was an off day, but today this bakery lacked inventory… and heart… And consistency.I hope they do better Just so that they stay in business and I can continue to bike here for their wonderful Galette

wow - the savory galettes are fantastic. We just had spinach/mushroom/feta - delicious. Also tried the almost cornbread. Sinful! Highly recommend this bakery.

Bomb! The Chocolate Beet Cake for $6 is to die for. So moist and delicious, can't even taste the beets! Found them at Presidio Tunnel Tops Park
