Came here hoping to get my favorite, Red Velvet Hot Chocolate but they don't make that here. It's available at the San Mateo location but I guess they don't share menus. Got the pandan eggettes. Not bad but not that fresh tasting. I used to get these in San Jose where it was extremely fresh but they also had a huge amount of customers so likely making fresh batches of the mix throughout the day. Here, you can tell the mix has been sitting.

Tried a Togo order today had a pandan mochi waffle. Was amazing! The pandan was not an overwhelming taste the waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside and it had the perfect mochi gummy taste. Will definitely make a trip to Bambu again to try the other yummies!

Haven't had bambu in awhile, and it's my first time at this location. Everything is so good!! The service can take just a tad bit more wait time compared to your "typical" boba shop since bambu makes their drink fresh... like really good quality drinks. Ambiance inside here is cute... parking can be hard!

The stack of 100 plastic Bambu cups in my cupboard is a giveaway that I'm a loyal customer. My husband and I treat ourselves to Bambu once a week. Please can we bring our reusable cups???

Bambu's drinks never change. No matter what you order, it's always good! I love they have pandan waffles, I usually go to Sam Jose for pandan waffles but now I can get them closer to home! My go to drink is the avocado smoothie and it's soooo good. I add pandan jelly and grass jelly. Each topping was 75 cents. The whole drink cost about $8, wish inflation wasn't a thing ): The service was nice. The workers are nice and attentive. I love the decorations they have in there and it's quite spacious too. There's a huge table where you can sit and then there's window seats too!

I've never had Vietnamese dessert like this before but it was so delicious! Bambu serves up really interesting coconut milk vietnamese desserts -- you'll like them if you like desserts/drinks with a lot of different textures. The menu has a ton of options to choose from so it's hard to decide, but I got the bambu favorite which has grass jelly, red tapioca, pandan jelly, and coconut milk. You can either eat it with a spoon or drink from a straw bc all the toppings are slurpable which I think is so fun. I was expecting the tapioca to be similar to chewy boba balls, but these were actually a lot different (in a good way). They're a lot smaller and more firm and almost crunchy. The grass jelly had a really good texture and didn't fall apart when you sip it through the straw either. The pandan jelly flavor was amazing too. Every slurp had me guessing what flavor combination I was getting. The inside of this place is super clean and nicely decorated. We were able to find seating easily. There wasn't too much of a line when we went either. The workers are really nice too and the drinks come out fast. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a new dessert to try! This was such a unique dessert and the different components in it make it really fun getting different flavors in every bite.

I love bambu!! Glad to see there are quite a few locations in the bay area. Bambu was one of my favorite dessert places in Socal but they all closed down. My favorite is the #3 with less ice and no sugar. I love the pandan jelly! The other coconut milk desserts are also really good. I would love to try the durian smoothie next time, but I don't know if it can be made with alternative / non dairy milk.

GREAT SWEET VIETNAMESE DESSERTS - I got the Chè #4 yesterday. Very fresh, tasty, not too sweet. I will definitely stop by in the future whenever I go to Milbrea. Just a couple of suggestions: the mung bean pasted should be softer and blends better to make the chè smoother. I could not taste the coconut milk that is the main ingredient of most chè. In fact, we should have more coconut milk and less aga aga. Other than that I do enjoy all the grass jelly, aga aga, and little bits of red and green flour. The open space is nice, clean with simple decor. It’s easy to relax and enjoy the drinks there. The price is very, very reasonable. The portion quite generous. Yes, I happily offer this place my Five Stars.

Everything in their menu is good. Tried their waffle for the first time and it was delicious

Well, the drinks are good, but the attention to detail is not quite there. I wanted the red things swapped for red beans. I confirmed during and after ordering and she wrote it on the cup, but I was in a rush and didn't check until I got home. Lo and behold - they didn't make the switch. Next time - pay attention to the order to make sure they get it right.

Ordered our favorites, Smashed Avocado, and Taro Lover. Both dessert drinks were delicious. It was our first time going to this location because it's hard to find parking. We tried to go before, but couldn't find a parking spot. We used to go to the South San Francisco location years ago and now frequent the San Mateo location. This Millbrae location is closer coming from San Francisco. Will come back again. I want to try the other drinks but always wind up getting my favorite Smashed Avocado. I may have to order 2 kinds of drink for me next time. I'll save half of each to drink the next day.

We had such wonderful time hang out at this dessert place, the other dessert didn't opened by Google hour so we all went to Bambu.Everything is on the not sweet side, even though though the dessert is not amazing but the atmosphere is quite awesome.
