Bashamichi Sushi and Bar

Great sushi, amazing value and pretty good service too. They are good all around but our go to is Maki, though the nigiri is great too. The prices are quite reasonable. The lovers combo is a good mix of all they do for two.

I had pretty low expectations for a sushi place attached to a La Quinta, but this place was spectacular. The fish was fresh and prepared well, the presentation was very nice, and sitting at the sushi bar was a cool experience. Service was a little slow, but they were absolutely packed with customers. It's not hard to see why. I've paid twice as much for sushi half as good. This place was excellent.

This restaurant was right next door to my hotel, just outside the side door. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed that many of the patrons were still wearing their coats. I was shortly seated and took my coat off, then it became apparent why everyone else still kept their coats on. It was just cold inside the restaurant. I put my coat back on and then ordered a Dragon Roll, some Sushi Rice, Miso Soup and a large Sapporo. Everything was perfect! The Dragon Roll was plated perfectly, the Miso was very hot and the Sushi Rice was delightful! The only downer was the cold room.

We go here for lunch regularly. Their food is always delicious. We had tempura, agedashi dofu and edamame for appetizers and bento boxes for lunch. Service was excellent.

My boyfriend and I tried the lovers combo, two appetizers, and two bottles of sake. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. The employees were nice and provided excellent service. Will definitely be back next time I am in town.

I really enjoyed my bento box - I got the teriyaki chicken which was excellently grilled and crispy on the outside while tender on the inside with a delicious savory and sweet glaze, a California roll which was fresh and tasty, and tempura which was fresh and light for a fried item. There was lots of variety with the tempura with multiple different veggies and shrimp. Service is also top notch with a very attentive and kind waiter! Value is excellent for the Bay (22 for 3 item bento). I will definitely come back if I am in the area!
