Stopped in here for some pho soup after landing at San Francisco airport. Parking was easy enough in the parking spots in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is large and has a lot of tables. The menu is clearly laid out and the service was quite good. The broth was very tasty and the chicken and noodles were also very good.
Food was traditionally flavored and soooooo good. Not sure if she was the owner, but extremely kind. Flight at SFO got delayed....by hours...escaped the airport and found this gem of a restaurant. She let me stay as long I needed...thank you for your kindness.
I ordered the beef stew with steamed rice. The broth was quite tasty, but unfortunately the stewed beef was not tender, rather tough. I've visited many Vietnamese restaurants and have had this same dish. The other restaurants generally serve this stew with much more tender beef chunks. Otherwise the spring rolls were quite good and so was the service, fast and friendly. Atmosphere wasn't so great, but that's just luck of the draw I guess. I happened to be there...
