Cupcakes were small but dense and flavorful. Texture was ok but not that soft, I guess it's because of it being dense. My concern is apart from the cupcakes, I ordered 2 flavors each of the empanadas (6 empanadas total) and all were put in a box without distinguishing marks which flavor is which. It was annoying since you have to take a bite and if one didn't like that flavor, so what now? Also, the empanadas did not really taste great, not a classic Filipino empanada.
We went late in the afternoon, close to closing time and not much to choose from. Only one flavor left, guava, which we purchased to try -- it was good. Next time, we'll go a lot earlier and get the others I was hoping to try.
Found this place looking for Filipino food on Google maps. What a unique little cafe! the bibingka style cupcakes are really yummy. The dough is very soft, moist, and spongy, quite different from your typical cupcake. Lots of delicious flavors to choose from, and they make them fresh daily.
