This place runs out of most popular bagels by 10am on weekends. Been here 4-5 times hoping to get jalapeΓ±o bagels around noontime, ALWAYS OUT. I'm not going here anymore, I can get plain bagels anywhere.

No matter whether it comes to texture, flavor, freshness, preservability, or value Choc Cookies earns high praise from me. Their product is so much greater than many so called high quality artisan bakeries.Encountering Choc Cookies was a fun surprise that made my day. I had just moved into the neighborhood and was out for a walk, just exploring the area. I noticed a lot of people driving and walking behind the closed Bagel Street Cafe. Curiosity peaked, I followed the pedestrians to find some enterprising individuals selling cookies out of the back.I was hesitant to encourage my greedy waistline, but the earnestness of the Choc Team and the tantalizing aroma of their baked goods won me over. I ended up buying a box of their Churro and Oreo cookies as my first purchase.Furthermore, they keep customers coming back with their fresh flavors and piping hot product. I know because I went back again to get another box of their chocolate chip and Oreo cookies to share with my friends when I hosted game night and wasn’t left with a single crumb.I hands down recommend everyone to give Choc Cookies a try and decide for themselves how many they should buy next time they come back.P.S. Get some milk from the Safeway next door too ??.

Delicious cookie but would agree it's not 10/10. Just a above normal cookie you could bake in oven at home. Not worth the money when you have to buy four from the back of the bakery

Premium price for giant and decent tasting cookies. They offer to warm them if you want to eat them right away, which is nice. Otherwise, you can heat them up in the microwave for 20 seconds, and they come out soft and great for consuming with cold milk.

For the price you pay, these cookies are very large and dense. But that’s the only thing it has going for it. In the evenings, you go to the back of the store and you can’t enjoy the cookies in a sit down setting. You have to buy a minimum of 4 which is a bit unnecessary especially if you only want one. The quality of their chocolate is good. However the batter was okay. If I will be honest the standard of the batter is no different than getting the ingredients from a store like safeway. Overall the experience was just okay.

I rarely went out to restaurants before the pandemic, but I do want to support local mom and pop eateries by ordering to go. The bagels and cream cheese toppings at this establishment are SOLID....stop buying supermarket or national chain bagels and go to a small business that bakes a bagel that has a shiny crust with a little bit of hardness to it and a nice glaze. The inside is very chewy, but not overly doughy. It's got a slight tang to the taste, and it's not too big, Of the cream cheese spreads, the scallion and smoked salmon are my favorite, nor can you go wrong with any of their gourmet bagel sandwiches. What I also love about this place is the selection of bagels--you can't go to Safeway for a New York rye or a pumpernickel. Also it looks like the millenial offspring of the elderly couple have taken over the shop, and so the restaurant space which I hope it will return to once this pandemic is over is clean and modern,

Love the creamcheese variety. Goes well with bagel chips and bagels.

Just like bagels, it’s round without an end, Same with their GOOD SERVICE in store and the community, it’s never ending. Thank you.

Stopped by today for some lunch and was not disappointed. The guy behind the counter was friendly and professional they got me my order pretty quickly. I got the turkey breast sandwich with avocado on a plain bagel and it was pretty tasty. There was a good amount of avocado and overall it was pretty filling. Will be stopping by more often for a quick meal. P.S. I noticed the only other review for this place was from 2014 and it looks like they've done some remodeling since then and things seem much better.
